Prosecution painted Diddy as a crime boss who refused to take 'no' for an answer.

Rap mogul P Diddy's trial is coming to an end with closing arguments taking place on Thursday. Assistant US Attorney Christy Slavik painted Sean Combs as a powerful mogul who acts like the king of the jungle, where "Everyone was there to serve him."
She began her closing argument with,
“Over the last several weeks, you’ve learned a lot about Sean (“Diddy”) Combs. He’s the leader of a criminal enterprise. He doesn’t take no for an answer and now you know about many crimes the defendant committed with members of his enterprise.”
Further leading the statement to the two connecting cases of his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, and the anonymous Jane, which were 8 years apart.
“They’re not separate stories, they’re chapters in the same book. The story of Sean Combs and the criminal enterprise he led, made up of his inner circle. According to Slavik, the enterprise "serviced the defendant’s every desire through a methodical pattern of violence, coercion and manipulation.” She further added, “The defendant counted on silence and shame to keep his crimes hidden. He thought that his fame, wealth, and power put him above the law, but over the course of this trial, his crimes have been exposed.”
Connecting the ties between this inner circle and P Diddy, she makes bold statements on her argument, saying,
"The defendant was a very powerful man, but he became more powerful and more dangerous because of the support of his inner circle and his businesses – the enterprise,”
And refers to the enterprise, which could be made of his allies, celebrities, and other powerful personas, as his kingdom.
“The defendant was at the top of this enterprise. Remember, it’s his kingdom. Everyone was there to serve him.”
P Diddy pleads not guilty
Sean "Diddy" Combs has pleaded not guilty to a series of serious allegations, including racketeering conspiracy, s*x trafficking, and more. However, just days before the closing arguments, federal prosecutors shifted their focus so as to apparently not confuse the jury. In a letter addressed to the Judge presiding over the case, they announced they would no longer pursue charges related to attempted kidnapping, attempted arson, and aiding and abetting s*x trafficking. Instead, the focus will now center on the core accusations of forced labor and s*x trafficking.
