Former CEO of FaZe Clan, Faze Banks, posted a video on X claiming that PlaqueBoyMax regretted leaving the clan in August 2025. Banks also shared screenshots of conversations between the two. In the video, Banks claimed that he spoke with Lacy and Ron earlier today, and that they plan to go live tomorrow to address their departure.

Banks claimed that PlaqueBoyMax is "farming" the current unstable situation at FaZe Clan, with several members leaving. Banks mentioned that the energy that Max is showing currently is not the same energy he has shown to Banks at the time of his departure, and claimed that Max had approached Banks for opinions on "everything," including creative, content, and his career.

Faze Banks revealed screenshots of his conversations with PlaqueBoyMax from August 5, 2025, when Max left the clan. Banks claimed that they had had several heartfelt conversations following his exit, and that the two checked up on each other. In several instances, Max can be seen complaining about his team, and there are "big holes and gaps" in his team.

In one instance, Max can be seen mentioning that he

"f**ked this whole s**t up" with FaZe Clan.

Max also claimed that he talked to the team and expressed that he'd like to be back, but was not allowed.

"I talked to them, this before subathon a couple weeks but n**gas don't want me back, I understood, they don't owe me anything tbh but I jus know what i offer. and i think everything wuld go crazier but ultimately this is one on me. I'm still cool with everybody tho I showeed love where I can."

Max can also be seen accepting that he "made some mistakes" and blamed his "lack of confidence and judgement" along with his "growing ego." Max is yet to respond or comment on Banks' comments.

Faze Banks had stepped down from the clan's CEO position in August 2025. Recently, Banks had mentioned in a tweet that he has "nothing to do" with what's happening at the eSports and entertainment brand and is not affiliated with them.

At the time of his departure, Banks stated that at 33, he wanted to shift his focus toward crypto and gambling, adding that he was no longer “interested in pretending” to be someone he’s not. Following Banks' statement in August, the organization has yet to announce a permanent replacement for the CEO position.
