IShowSpeed called out for “Fake reaction” after a Turkish prank.

Top Twitch streamer IShowSpeed is currently on his European tour, and one of his stops included the scenic country of Turkey. Speed, whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr., is known for IRL streaming and live streaming his adventures across the world, and one of those experiences included the famous Turkish spilling prank.

In this prank, the server at a cafe or restaurant pretends to spill hot drinks or dishes on the customer, putting them in a panic; however, the bowls and cups are either empty or attached to the serving tray, giving the recipient a good scare.

The same thing happened to Speed as he was sitting in a restaurant with his companions. A waiter approached him with two kettles, and one of them seemed to be steaming. Suddenly, the water drops the kettle on the streamer, who assumes it's full of hot liquid and jumps out of his seat. He is standing in the corner when the waiter shows him the empty kettles and he realises that it's a joke. At this point, Darren is livid and suddenly screams at the waiter to "stop f*cking playing," while the server and the people around them are laughing.

Fans react to IShowSpeed's reaction

The internet had mixed reactions to the viral video clip. While some people criticized him for his overexaggerated reaction, others surprisingly, were more interested in how quickly he reacted and were impressed by his reflexes.

One user commented, "Its sad how people like Speed make themselves like clowns for a few clicks"
Another marvelled, "Now I know why he’s called speed"
One person noted, "Turkish pranks hit different. Something about being a tourist makes you the perfect target. I learned this the hard way."
While one netizen stated, "So does everyone acknowledge that shit like this on IRL streams is similar to WWE or do people think this shit is real"
One fan expressed, "That is totally cool to see iSpeeds speed"

IShowSpeed Europe Tour Part 2 officially kicked off on Monday, July 7, and will hit countries such as Bosnia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Turkey, though the full list of countries is still a surprise. The tour also marks the streamer's return to Twitch after many years. Not only that, but he also announced that he will be broadcasting the entire tour live and will be streaming on both Twitch and YouTube so that viewers can have a wider scope of viewership.
