On August 18, Vogue Magazine unveiled the cover stars for its Dogue edition labeling Rosé’s Hank as most followed pet rather than BTS' Jungkook’s Bam. Vogue magazine dubbed BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s Hank as the pet with most following on Instagram. As of this writing, Hank has over 4.6 million Instagram followers, while BTS' Jungkook’s Bam has 7.7 million.

Shortly after Vogue published its cover story, fans of BTS' Jungkook criticized the publication for downplaying their idol and his pet. They demanded Vogue magazine to make correction in their erroneous title used for Rosé’s Hank cover story.

Many other fans appeared disappointed with Vogue. While some said that media should be held accountable for misinformation, others asked them to fix their title.

“The media needs to be held accountable for spreading misinformation! @voguemagazine. Correct the title! BAM, the dog of Global Pop Superstar, JUNG KOOK, is the most followed celebrity dog on Instagram, with 7.7 MILLION followers!,” a fan commented.
“@voguemagazine this is misinformation fix the title. BAM, the dog of Global Pop Superstar, JUNG KOOK, is the most followed celebrity dog on Instagram, with 7.7 MILLION followers...,” another fan wrote.
“Please see above and delete and correct your posts to avoid spreading misinformation further,” stated another follower.
“How do they always end up stealing Jungkook's record...I haven't seen media doing this to any other artist.,” a fan stated.
“The dog's achievement was taken, damn, how could a team that big not know or not bother to find out, unprofessional @voguemagazine,” commented a fan.

Some suggested that BTS' Jungkook needs a separate team to take care of these matters, while others accused the publication of stealing their beloved idol’s records.

“The way the media downplays even Jungkook’s dog is crazy. Bam eats and they choke.,” said another fan.
“That's why Jungkook needs a team just for him. How many mistakes just these days? Big Hit doesn't have the capacity to manage Jeon Jungkook.,” expressed another follower.
“Since when was 4.6M greater than 7.7M? .@voguemagazine. Besides being wrong on the celebrity pets ranking, you also did no research on the #1 pet account overall on IG not being Rosé's dog account either.,” a fan wrote.
“The math ain’t mathing,” stated an admirer.
“There’s no way that they are going to star a fight because of this yall need a job,” another fan said.
