Fashion icon Vera Wang celebrates 76th birthday in Paris, calls it "yet another BIG BIRTHDAY…."

American fashion designer Vera Ellen Wang, commonly known as Vera Wang, recently celebrated her 76th birthday. Wang traveled to Paris to celebrate her birthday in style on June 27, 2025. The fashion icon took to her Instagram and shared a bunch of photos from her birthday celebrations.

Vera Wang, who is an influential and highly celebrated fashion designer, began by sharing a picture of the fruit basket and flowers, which was presented to her after she arrived at Hotel Plaza Athenee.

Among the many photos she posted on her Instagram, the fashion designer also shared a picture of herself with her birthday cake, which had several candles, including one depicting her age. She captioned the photo:

"A SMALLISH CAKE for yet another BIG BIRTHDAY…."

Vera Wang, has two children: Josephine and Ceceilia. She shares her daughters with her former husband, Arthur P. Becker, who is a real estate developer and investor. Wang was married to Becker from 1989 to 2012. The fashion icon, who is specifically famous for her bridal wear and haute couture collections, has won several awards for her work.

While Vera was seen in good spirits during her birthday extravaganza, which was all about cocktails, wine, and quality time with some of her close friends, she celebrated her 76th birthday at the sophisticated Le Relais Plaza. The renowned fashion designer was decked up in a black mini dress with minimal makeup and wore knee-high boots.

She shared another Instagram post, which had three pictures of her walking into the stylish restaurant in Paris, and was captioned:

"Just celebrating my 75 9/10 - 76th birthday NEW YORK TIME with my Parisian crew and a few others who have been lifelong besties! Thank you all for this special night!"

Vera Wang opens up about her new fragrance

In an exclusive interview with People Magazine Wang opened up about her new fragrance called Vera Wang Love Eau De Parfum. The fragrance is bottled in a diamond-shaped container, as it suggests a sense of romance.

She said:

"I think it's because my age. I've experienced not only a lot of fashion, needless to say when you look at my resumé, but I think I've experienced a lot of humanity. And I have to say that I see, now more than ever, that there is a need for this."
