50 Cent is setting the record straight about "gloating" over Trump's decision to nix the presidential pardon for Diddy.
President Trump recently announced that he won't be issuing the rap mogul a presidential pardon ahead of his sentencing, and Cent, who was loud and clear about his disdain for Diddy throughout the trial, took to social media shortly after to troll the latter.
"Can you believe he thought he was getting pardoned. No Sir, you are not. You said very nasty things…👊😕."
Since then, Deadline has reported on the comments, with a headline that says:
"50 Cent Gloats As Trump Nixes Pardon For "Half-Innocent" Diddy, For Now"
Unhappy, 50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson, took to Instagram once again. He shared a screenshot of the headline with the following caption:
"Gloating 👀feels negative, I simply said Trump’s not gonna like the Nasty things he said 🤷"

Days ago, Deadline reported that the president shut down the idea of releasing Diddy. He spoke to Newsmax on Friday, saying,
"He was essentially, I guess, sort of half-innocent. He was celebrating a victory, but I guess it wasn’t as good of a victory." He added, "When I ran for office, he was very hostile. It’s hard, you know? We’re human beings. And we don’t like to have things cloud our judgment, right? But when you knew someone and you were fine, and then you run for office, and he made some terrible statements. So I don’t know… It makes it more difficult to do.”
Diddy was convicted of two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution. However, he was acquitted of the grave charges of racketeering conspiracy and s*x trafficking. He is now looking at up to 2 decades behind bars as his sentencing has been scheduled for October 3.
Earlier last month, when Diddy's verdict was announced, 50 Cent took to Instagram to share a photo of himself smiling at the camera, while his caption read:
"Diddy beat the Rio, that boy a bad man! He like the Gay John Gotti @50centaction."
As for Diddy, he has long been vocal about his criticism of the incumbent president, and as reported by Blast, back in 2020, he claimed that the entire nation would be thrown into a "race war" if Trump became president. In another conversation on Revolt, he told Charlamagne Tha God that "white men like Trump need to be banished."
"That way of thinking, it's real dangerous. This man literally threatened the lives of us and our families about going to vote. 'Stand back and stand by,'" Diddy said at the time, adding, "the No. 1 priority is to get Trump out of office."
