On July 6, 2025, BTS' Taehyung posted a bunch of pictures on his Instagram account sharing cheerful moments of his time in Paris. The idol recently traveled to Paris to attend Celine’s Fashion Show, which has been scheduled for July 6, 2025. Among all the pictures, one of them caught much attention of V’s fans as it featured Labubu dolls.

For those unaware, Labubu dolls have been a viral sensation lately. These dolls were initially popularized by celebrities like BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Dua Lipa, among others. Labubu dolls went viral and quickly became controversial after they were linked to a mythological demon, Pazuzu.

Given the controversy revolving around Labubu, the internet gave mixed reactions to BTS' Taehyung's shared picture. One of the users on X said:

Netizens gave mixed reactions to BTS' Taehyung’s latest Labubu doll IG update

Many fans responded with varying reactions to Labubu dolls. While some claimed that they didn’t belong to BTS' Taehyung, others said he can do whatever he likes.

“convincing myself these were gifted to him and he didn’t buy these vgly creatures himself,” a fan wrote.
“Oh no save him (just a joke obviously, he can do whatever he likes, I still don't see the appeal tho but I don't have to haha),” another fan commented.
“He follows trends,” stated another admirer.
“The most taehyung thing unfortunately,” a fan stated.

Some said BTS' Taehyung was following trends, while others stated that Labubu dolls weren’t ugly. Other fans commented that the Winter Bear singer became the victim of capitalism.

“Since tae has posted them , I'll voice out my opinion. I don't think labubus are that ugly,” commented an admirer.

BTS' Taehyung went to Paris for Celine’s Printemps 2026 fashion show

Kim Taehyung became the brand ambassador for Celine in March 2023. The latest appearance of the idol as the face of the fashion label also marked his first official appearance following his military discharge on June 10, 2025. He joined his military term in December 2023 with his fellow musician Namjoon.

On July 6, BTS' Taehyung marked his attendance for the Celine Printemps 2026 fashion show, which was organized in Paris. V pulled off a gray look for the runway event. He combined a gray jacket and coordinating trousers. He accessorized the look with a layered necklace.

Later, V switched to academic fashion for the Celine after-party. He donned a blue tailored jacket and white vest with beige bottoms. He also tied a scarf around his neck and carried his glasses to complete his after-party look.
