On June 10, 2025, the trial of Sean "Diddy" Combs entered its fifth week. A key witness, who identified herself as "Jane," took the stand. Jane described her three-year relationship with the hip-hop billionaire in great detail. Jane, an influencer who became a witness, stated that Combs sexually assaulted and trafficked her during his "hotel nights," when he would watch her have sex with prostitutes.

When Jane first met Combs in 2021, she was a social media influencer earning over $50,000 a year. The lady states that Combs provided her with approximately $150,000, covered her rent, and paid for her legal fees as a means of controlling her during their relationship.

Jane, Diddy's ex, reveals how they put on sermons on TV: More details

Prosecutors have revealed that Combs forced Jane to spend multiple "hotel nights" with him, which lasted up to 3.5 days and involved several "rounds" with male escorts that Combs himself arranged and managed. She said he gave her Ecstasy so she could get through the sessions, telling her, "Let's finish strong," even though she had asked him to stop.

Defense lawyer Teny Geragos asked her during cross-examination whether Combs had ever revealed other sides of his personality during the "hotel nights." She recalled that during their breaks from these sessions, Combs would:

"often put on his favorite sermons on TV, which we would watch together and talk about them."

She added that the sermons provided:

“a really good perspective on a lot of things.”

Jane explained how Combs would provide her with recordings of sermons that she could watch whenever she wanted. The sermons focused on topics such as faith, growth, patience, and spiritual development. She mentioned that these sessions made her feel closer to Combs, which the prosecution claims he used to influence her mind.

She said:

“He had a favorite pastor, and he would put sermons on TV, and we would watch them together, and he would send me sermons, and I would watch them on my own.”

Jane also revealed in her testimony that Sean was involved with another woman and acknowledged that her relationship with him was a "chaotic whirlwind of a dark life that I wasn’t proud of."

Her testimony about Combs' spiritual side complicates the prosecution's case even further. It indicates that the defendant allegedly intertwined religious motives with exploitation.

Jane's testimony is a crucial element of the prosecution's case and illustrates the complexity of the abuse she allegedly endured.
