The sources also claimed that Trudeau was not expecting the amount of attention their first date received, and was reportedly bothered by it. A source further elaborated that he was not ready for the level of public interest that followed after the pictures were released. It was only a first date, but it quickly became a big story online and in the media.

Another source also claims that the two remain just friends. According to the most recent report by Page Six, Katy Perry is in the process of healing from her split with Orlando Bloom, which was announced in early July. She also shares a four-year-old daughter, Daisy, with Bloom.

Trudeau, who parted ways with his wife Sophie Grégoire in 2023 after 18 years of marriage, is also getting used to life outside the office. He has three children and is trying to figure out his life, now that he does not hold the position of Prime Minister of Canada.

Although according to a previous source reported by People, the pair is attracted to each other and shares common interests, it might take time for things to progress.
