American commentator and political activist Tim Pool reacted to Charlie Kirk’s death in a recent episode of his Timcast show.
Pool said the incident was one of the most horrific ones. As he pulled out a CNN report, he remembered Charlie as an absolute legend. He said:
“I have done a lot of business in this industry. I have met some of the sleaziest people you can imagine. And Charlie was the best. And I'm not just saying that. He brought us out to his event. He takes care of my crew. He gets us the production that we need. And we don't even ask.”
Tim Pool said Charlie Kirk was the one to do actual work, mentioning:
“I've traveled around. I've done reporting. But he does the real hard work. He built a real machine that was fixing this country and it still is. And I was lucky enough to be able to be a part of his event that he took care of us and my crew.”
Pool also said that Charlie Kirk’s murder was not merely the assassination of a political leader but the loss of a friend. He said he had a difficult time coming to terms with the news as he wanted to believe that the CNN report was fake. He said he didn’t want any war and did not want to see videos of his friends getting hurt.
Tim Pool said that it was time to send prayers and thoughts to Kirk’s family and be there for them in whatever way possible.
Tim Pool reflects on Charlie Kirk’s work and the ongoing online sentiments
The podcaster said he had watched several videos from well-known conservatives who knew Charlie, and many of them were crying. He said it was okay for men to cry after Charlie Kirk’s death.
He admitted he didn’t know what to say or do because it felt personal to him. He explained that he felt it wasn’t his place to talk about it, since it was something reporters and news anchors should cover, and that more details might come from the people who worked closely with Kirk.
Speaking about the online sentiments about Charlie Kirk’s death, Pool said:
“There's a lot of videos in my feed right now of leftist celebrating and I just want you all to know I think it's important that you guys know that this sentiment does exist and I think you already know that. But I don't think it is healthy or good for us right now to sit here and surround ourselves by videos of demons and evil who will fill our hearts with rage.”
Tim Pool went on:
“They will they seek to make us irrational beings. We must be purely rational and smart. Express your emotions, feel your emotions and be a human. But the next move made by those of us who are fighting for the soul of this nation and for the betterment of humanity has to be correct, precise, appropriate, etc.”
Pool added that Charlie Kirk’s hard work and the strong foundation he built had given many people the strength to keep going and work toward success. He warned people not to let this be ruined. He also mentioned that many well-known people were sharing statements, but because they were so upset, some were getting angry online and blaming others for what happened.
