JD Vance, who recently made an appearance on a podcast where he talked about various topics, took a moment to praise President Donald Trump. According to reports, the Vice President recently appeared on the Pod Force One with Miranda Devine podcast, where he remarked on Donald Trump's seemingly high energy and charming personality. Host Miranda Devine noted that Trump, who does not sleep for long hours while flying, often wakes up journalists during flights. JD Vance agreed, with both of them saying:

"He wakes up the journalists for midnight gaggles."

According to AP News, JD Vance also spoke at a Turning Point USA event on Wednesday at the University of Mississippi, where he explained that the current administration aims to bring down legal immigration as well. He said:

“We have to get the overall numbers way, way down. When something like that happens, you’ve got to allow your own society to cohere a little bit, to build a sense of common identity, for all the newcomers — the ones who are going to stay — to assimilate into American culture. Until you do that, you’ve got to be careful about any additional immigration, in my view.”

More from JD Vance's interview, as the Vice President praises Donald Trump

During his appearance on the Pod Force One with Miranda Devine podcast, JD Vance explained in great detail about how President Donald Trump remains highly energetic and focused, even at seventy nine years old. He added that even though he has not personally traveled with the President due to security reasons, he has heard numerous accounts about Donald Trump's innate energy even when traveling for long hours. He said:

"When you go on one of these 23-hour international trips with Donald Trump. If you're lucky, he'll sleep two hours. If you're unlucky, he'll be roaming around Air Force One, you know, busting your chops because you've fallen asleep."

He further added:

"He's president of the United States for four years this term, and he's just so focused on getting as much as possible done. But he really sleeps less and still has more energy than anybody that I know that's 40 years younger than he is. And that is, I mean, you hear people talk about it. You wonder how true it is. Trust me, I've seen it from the inside. He has unbelievable energy."

JD Vance also described the President as being very good with children, recalling how patient he was with his own children when he and the First Lady came to visit JD Vance and his wife for dinner. He said:

"He has a very good heart. When he and the First Lady came to dinner a couple weeks ago, theikids were upstairs with the babysitter. They really wanted to see the President and the First Lady. So we brought them down, and you never know what to expect...they were pretty well behaved but they were kids..they were jumping around..and he was so good with them. He has a natural grandfatherly way with kids..I never once felt he is impatient or wants them out there. He has a way about him, where people are naturally attracted to him...kids in particular are attracted to him"

JD Vance was also slammed for his recent comments expressing hope that his wife, Usha Vance, would one day convert to his faith during a Q&A session at the Turning Point USA event.
