“His voice is now stronger than ever”: Country singer Gavin Adcock pays a powerful tribute to Charlie Kirk during a concert

Country singer Gavin Adcock, during a performance at Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri, ended his concert by chanting "Charlie Kirk." Conservative political activist and Trump ally Kirk was shot to death on September 10 while addressing students at an event at Utah Valley University.

As per a video shared by Adcock from his September 11 performance on Instagram, the singer can be seen leading the crowd with a chant of "Charlie Kirk." Adcock was shirtless, wearing a cowboy hat and a pair of jeans, while holding up an American flag. In the video, Gavin can be heard saying,

"Jesus loves every single one of you in this place tonight. Charlie Kirk's with Jesus."

He urged fans to "say some thoughts and prayers tonight" before they go to bed.

In the caption, Gavin said,

"I didn't get the privilege of meeting Charlie Kirk, but anybody that loves Jesus is a friend of mine. His outspoken beliefs were not silenced 2 days ago. His voice is now stronger than ever and will make an impact for centures. There is not a thing in the world you can say to make this better, but my thoughts and prayers go out to every single person that his hurting from his horrible tragedy."

Country artists mourn Charlie Kirk's death

Following Charlie Kirk's assassination on September 10, several country, Americana, rock, and contemporary Christian artists, including Sheryl Crow, Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Breland, Lauren Alaina, Gavin Adcock, Cece Winans, Michael W. Smith, and Parker McCollum, took to social media to express their sadness and offered thoughts for Kirk's family, wife, and his two children.

Sheryl Crow in an Instagram post wrote,

"I have empathy for Charlie Kirk and his wife and two children."

Cold Windell posted a photo of Charlie and his family on Instagram Stories and wrote, "Absolutely heartbreaking. Praying for this beautiful family."

Parker McCollum, in an Instagram post, described Kirk as "one of the greatest young patriots this country has ever seen."

Jason Aldean, in an Instagram post, called Kirk one of the "kindest, smartest, and bravest people I've ever seen."

Gavin Adcock has been vocal about his opinions against Democrat leaders, including Joe Biden, and has openly supported Conservative leaders.

In April 2024, Adcock performed at Kid Rock's Rock the Country tour, where he expressed his feelings about Biden using allegedly foul-mouthed language. In a video clip shared online, Adcock can be seen yelling into the microphone, "F*** you, Joe Biden, you c***, s******, m***********."
