Kelly Osbourne is publicly grieving her father, the late Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne.
Kelly, 40, took to her Instagram Stories to pen an emotional letter about how she's grieving, which read as follows:
"I've sat down to write this a hundred times and still don't know if the words will ever feel like enough.. but from the bottom of my heart, thank you. The love, support, and beautiful messages I've received from so many of you have truly helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life. Every kind word, every shared memory, every bit of compassion has meant more than I can ever explain."
Kelly Osbourne lost her father on July 22 at the age of 76. He was laid to rest on the grounds of his England home, also known as Welders House, The Daily Mail has reported. He purchased the house with his wife, Sharon Osbourne, back in 1993.
"Grief is a strange thing-it sneaks up on you in waves—I will not be ok for a while-but knowing my family are not alone in our pain makes a difference. I'm holding on tight to the love, the light, and the legacy left behind."
Kelly Osbourne then concluded her post by thanking fans for "being there."

Two days after her father died, Kelly Osbourne shared a brief statement on her Instagram Stories, set to the track she and her father recorded together in 2003, titled, Changes.
"I feel unhappy I am so sad," she wrote at the time. "I lost the best friend I ever had 💔"
As reported by the Daily Mail, Ozzy Osbourne's resting place was somewhere he and his family would frequently go to when they needed to escape their fame.
'[The mansion] had been where he and Sharon escaped from the showbiz world in the 1990s and 2000s to simply focus on family,' a source told the outlet. 'Once again it showed how despite all the amazing rock and roll success and celebrity he had, in his heart he was always a family man.'
In the wake of his demise, his legion of fans flocked to the streets of Birmingham to pay their respects as his family trailed his hearse van. The fleet of vehicles also made a pit stop at the Black Sabbath bridge and bench.
"It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning," his family said, announcing his demise. "He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time."
