TJ Holmes and Amy Robach made a rare appearance with their blended family at this year's iHeart Radio Jingle Ball.

The controversial pair, who recently got engaged, struck a pose for the paparazzi on the red carpet alongside their respective kids at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday night.

Robach is a mom to two girls: Ava, 22, and Annalise, 19. She shares them with her first ex-husband, Tim McIntosh. As for Holmes, he shares Brianna and Jaiden with his first ex-wife, Amy Ferson, and Sabine with his second ex-wife, Marilee Fiebig.

People magazine reported around the same time last year that both T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach brought their kids to the same event. It marked their first appearance on a red carpet together. Shortly after, on the December 18 episode of the pair's iHeartRadio podcast, Amy and T.J., the two revealed that it was "no small thing."

"We had to have a discussion with our kid before we walked out on a red carpet," Holmes shared, adding that "they didn't have to do it at all" if they didn't want to, but "they just kept pushing." He continues, "There was no small thing, and a discussion had to be had ahead of time." Even so, "I was still a little nervous about it," Holmes admits, "but Sabine gave me the thumbs up on the okay."

As for Amy Robach, she admitted that "it was the first time" that they brought their daughters with them to the red carpet.

"Obviously, it's only been a year since the two of us were on the red carpet, so for us to go on the red carpet with one of our daughters — a piece altogether, the four of us standing there, that was a decision," she says. "We talked to our daughters about it, and everybody was okay with it," she shared. "And so we went for it."

Back in January 2024, Amy Robach told listeners on her and Holmes' podcast that their bond with their kids was "evolving."

"As tough as it's been for so many people in our lives, it's the most difficult for them because now they're having to look at us in a different way with one another," Robach explained. "We have been very thoughtful and we've taken things very slowly and we're being very patient. But things are good. They're peaceful, and we want to continue building on that."

As for their recent engagement, during a recent episode of their podcast, Amy Robach said that they had evolved into fiancées for about a month before the world realized.

“I was in three massive football stadiums three weekends in a row, wearing my engagement ring very proudly, very excitedly, and kept waiting for somebody to point it out or ask me, ‘Hey, what’s that?’ And it never happened,” the mom of two, 52, said. She also said that people around them were trying to be “polite” because they “understand what [they’ve] been through and don’t want to pry.” “We haven’t been keeping it a secret, but nobody asked!” Holmes, 48, chimed in.
