Lizzie Kieffer has welcomed another child, four months after her daughter succumbed to a tumor.
Per People Magazine, the influencer welcomed her third child via Instagram Stories on September 14, with a photo of the newborn and the caption,
"Hello World ✨."
Lizzie Kieffer, who is from Missouri, announced her pregnancy to the world back in March. The pair also shares an older daughter named Mia. Just earlier this year, she confirmed that her 1-year-old had died in a post on Instagram on April 26:
“We are shattered,” she wrote. “Wednesday we woke up to a nightmare that we never imagined becoming our reality. Our Lily passed away.”
She also said that she and her husband did not have more information at the time, though she did reveal that the doctors had discovered a “large mass on her brain that we could have never known about.”
Everything we know about Lizzie Kieffer's daughter's tragic demise:
In her video, Lizzie Kieffer said,
“We won’t know more answers with many of these things for months until further testing is done,” before concluding, “Lilybug, you are our angel. And we know you’ll always be with us. Daddy, Mommy, Mia & new baby love you so damn much and we miss you every single second.”
As for the caption, it read:
“We are shattered. You taught us more in 1 year than most can in their life, Lily. We feel you with us. And we feel your spirit already in this new baby. You will always, always be a part of us and although the hole will never be filled, speaking your name will sing through our days bringing joy into the moments. You’re our light in this darkness and we know God is holding you in an extra special place. Please keep our family deep in your prayers. We know they work and we feel them and the support. We appreciate it more than you know.”
Per ABC News, Lizzie Kieffer, known by her username @doclizziedpt, is most known for her pelvic floor workouts for fellow expecting mothers. A physical therapist by profession, she also shares prenatal and postpartum fitness programs with her nearly 300,000 followers on Instagram.
In an obituary confirming her second child's demise, it stated Lilian was a "Daddy's girl," and that she loved "climbing into the ball pit" and "riding around in her little red car" with her older sister.
Per People Magazine, the content creator has been relatively dormant on Instagram since her daughter's tragic demise. However, in May, she thanked her followers for their “overwhelming support” as she and her family navigated the pangs of bereavement:
“We know it’s not expected in a time like this, but a big part of us feels the desire to just say - thank you and we feel it all. It’s the strength only Jesus can stir up inside you, even in the mustard seed moments and through the questions of why and for what,” Lizzie Kieffer said on Instagram. “It’s the strength that comes from family and friends. Swooping in wrapping us in embraces, in filling space, in just doing without hesitation or question things we didn’t even know we needed. The strength from our Mia has been our light through this all.”
