A video of Azerbaijani live streamer Subhan Mamedov, also known as Subo, taking a beating from MMA fighter Shovhal Churchaev is going viral. The incident took place during a livestream, and was first reported by Nexta, an Eastern European–based media outlet, on social media. In the clip, the two men can be seen speaking a Slavic language before the boxer seemingly takes offense to something Subo said, prompting him to begin assaulting him.Nexta reported, “The blogger said that his guest had been on his knees begging the head of the UFC for help—the fighter lost his temper and started beating him.” According to translations taken from the clip, the fighter repeatedly yelled at the streamer to “Get on your knees and apologize!” X account @Lashybills has reported that the streamer began trolling the boxer, prompting him to burst out in anger. "Bro BEGGED Dana White on his KNEES for a UFC contract!" he exclaimed at one point. Subo's scandalous history explored: In the clip, Subo can be seen emphatically applogizing, to no avail. The MMA fighter continued beating, kicking, and slapping him after pinning him to the ground. In another post, Nexta claimed, “The blogger turned out to be a tough nut to crack—he never got on his knees to apologize, despite his tormentor’s persistent demands.” The boxer also tried to lift the streamer from the ground at one point, and even asked someone to bring him water. Shortly after, Churchaev exited the frame, allowing the latter to lift himself up and shut down the livestream. The outlet has also reported that the streamer is currently living in Dubai as he is prohibited from entering Russia for allegedly "pranking" local authorities: "Earlier this year, Subo was stripped of his Russian citizenship and banned from entering the country after repeatedly pranking the police."Subo is notorious for sparking controversy. Just earlier this year, authorities declared him wanted when he was accused of executing a massive tax evasion scheme. At the time, the Main Investigative Directorate for the Moscow Region, Mamedov, his father, and his brother failed to shell out over 50 million rubles in taxes between 2020 and 2022. Investigators claimed that the three robbed the state of massive funds, and also laundered 10 million rubles to buy luxury cars and live lavishly. The streamer was consequently hit with over 20 million rubles in penalties. Stay tuned to SoapCentral for more.
