Emma Chamberlain is getting candid about her dating habits in a new episode of In Your Dreams, the podcast hosted by her friend Owen Thiele. The influencer opened up about why she often finds herself in relationships with musicians. Her remarks have sparked interest, especially since she has recently been linked to singer-songwriters Role Model and Peter McPoland.
During the conversation, Thiele asked her a direct question about why she dates men in music. Emma Chamberlain responded with humor but also with a sense of clarity about her patterns. As reported by People magazine, she answered the question by quoting Sabrina Carpenter.
She said, “I swear they choose me. I’m not choosing them.”
Emma Chamberlain also said that she does take part in choosing them, but not as much as people think.
She added with a laugh, “And I choose them a little too.”
Her comments show that she is still trying to understand why this pattern keeps happening.
Why do musicians keep entering Emma Chamberlain's life?
Emma Chamberlain shared what she called interesting evidence about why she believes musicians choose her first. She explained that she has never made the first move with a man who makes music.
According to People, she said, “I have never slid into the DM of a musician. Only ever has the music man slid into mine.”
She also said this happens in person. She said that she has never walked up to a man in music at a bar.
Instead, she explained, “Only ever has a man in music walked up to me at a bar.”
This pattern made her think that she may be attracting these people without trying.
Thiele then asked if watching musicians on stage has an effect on her. Chamberlain said it does something, but it is not the main reason she dates them. She said she finds any person attractive when they love what they do.
She explained it simply: “Any guy doing anything that they love, I’m going to be like, that’s hot.”
Her past relationships and what music revealed

Emma Chamberlain also spoke about her past relationships and how music became part of the experience. She noted that her first relationship with a musician happened by chance. She said the fact that he made music was “irrelevant” at the time. She then said the second time was similar. She first met the person without knowing he worked in music.
When she found out, she thought, “Oh no, we’re doing this again.”
She also shared that dating musicians has led to another unusual experience. She has heard music written about her, and it has helped her understand her relationships better.
As she said, “I learned about my own relationship through the music.” She said it sometimes gave her more insight than conversations did.
Chamberlain said it felt strange to hear feelings expressed in songs that were never said out loud during the relationship. She explained that it was both helpful and confusing.
She said, “It’s weird when you hear more in the music than in real life.”
