"I cannot get over the body shaming": Fans give mixed reaction as Miley Cyrus bares for latest magazine cover

Miley Cyrus has gone completely nude for a Perfect Magazine cover, and fans have mixed reactions.

The 32-year-old singer bared herself and used a single hand to cover herself, as she looked into the camera with hair cascading down in waves. In the interview with the magazine, Miley discussed the power she feels by "wearing nothing."

Fans took to the comment section of the magazine's Instagram post of Miley's cover to express their opinions on everything from her hair to her looks.

"I cannot get over the body shaming, whether or not her look is due to the natural aging process, an enhancement procedure or both, who cares!? It’s her body and her who message is about accepting yourself and others. If you don’t like it move on, nobody wants to hear your hate and negativity, there are other sites do that" - a user commented

Miley Cyrus, in her recent cover shoot for Perfect Magazine, talks about finding power in wearing nothing. In the cover for the magazine, Miley can be quoted as saying,

"Even if I'm wearing nothing, there still feels like a level of power to it."

In another cover, Miley is draped in an elegant gown from Sofia Coppola's 2005 Marie Antoinette film.

"I feel like right now I;m in that kind of God pocket: everything is just flowing and there's a real harmonious relationship between me and what I'm wearing. It still feels like skin. I don't feel like it ever overpowers. I don't feel like it's wearing me."

In a third cover, Miley Cyrus piles her hair atop her head while wearing a busty blue top with satin taupe ribbons. This isn't the first time Miley has decided to go nude. In January 2025, Miley Cyrus went nearly nude in a sheer, structured corset top from Schiaparelli.

Instagram censored the image and made it visible only for users 18 or older. At the time, Miley opened up about her relationship with Pamela Anderson and how Pamela's career evolution has inspired her own.
