“I am getting a divorce”: Tammy Hembrow Breaks Down as She Reveals Heartbreaking Split from Matt Zukowski

Australian influencer and fitness entrepreneur Tammy Hembrow has made it public that she and Matt Zukowski are getting divorced. Their marriage came to an end just seven months after they tied the knot in November 2024. The 31-year-old used social media on June 22, 2025, to confirm what many had been guessing online for weeks.

Hembrow shared a video message on TikTok in which she was teary-eyed as she discussed the situation, saying it wasn't easy to discuss. She didn't go into the exact reasons for the split, but she did say the experience had been challenging. She emphasized that she now wants to focus on her children and personal growth.

Tammy Hembrow said she didn't expect or want to end her marriage when she tied the knot. She didn't point fingers at her ex-partner but thought about how she'd handled relationships before. She hopes to be more careful when making choices in the future.

“I wanted to finally tell you guys that I am getting a divorce,” she said. “Did I think this was going to happen? No. Did I want this? No. Obviously, when you marry someone, you do it thinking that it is going to be forever. Obviously, the worst part for me is that I have kids. I don’t care about me, I know I’ll be okay. I blame no one but myself. When it comes to relationships. I’m really good at putting on rose-colored glasses or just getting swept up in it all."

She continued:

“Hopefully, I’ll be more cautious going forward and more eyes wide open and listen to the people around me,” Tammy Hembrow continued. Hopefully I finally learn from these mistakes. Super embarrassing, super heartbreaking, super just s*** situation. Nothing anyone could say will make me feel more s*** or humiliated than I already do. I already think that about myself right now."

She's still going to therapy and trying to grow as a person.

Matt Zukowski reflects on his split from Tammy Hembrow and calls for privacy

Matt Zukowski also put out a message on Instagram to confirm they were no longer married. He said it was tough to decide, but they had to do it. He felt it was best for both of them and Tammy Hembrow's three kids. Zukowski, a former reality TV personality and model, said their time together would always be remembered fondly. He wrote:

"It’s with a heavy heart I share that Tammy and I have decided to separate. Both of us have struggled with making this decision; however, we need to do what is right for ourselves and her three children,” he wrote. This wasn’t a decision we took lightly. Our time together will always be cherished and never forgotten.”

The pair tied the knot in Byron Bay at the end of 2024, with close ones joining them for an intimate event. This union stands as Hembrow's third notable romance after Reece Hawkins and Matt Poole. She is mom to Wolf and Saskia, whom she had with Hawkins, and her youngest, Posy, with Poole.

Tammy Hembrow revealed she's been coping with strong personal feelings and is working hard to understand and recover. Hembrow and Zukowski have both asked for privacy, and their statements point to a respectful end to their relationship. For now, neither of them plans to say anything more about it.
