"I thought it was a normal conversation": Ray apologizes to VTuber Ironmouse after she accused him and RaKai of making her feel uncomfortable

Virtual YouTuber or VTuber Ironmouse is seemingly upset with Ray and RaKai for how they made her feel at the 2025 Streamer Awards. As seen in a video posted by the X account ‘@FearedBuck,’ the VTuber said that she saw an X post in which people claimed that she was trying to appease others. She said it was not true. According to her:

“You have no idea what I went through in that moment so let me explain to you. And I am here with Rob and we are walking, getting ready to go to our seats and I get rushed by RaKai and Ray. I will tell you a 100%, I was very uncomfortable to the point where I was shaking because I already knew that I was gonna get asked something terrible. I knew that they were gonna say something rude to me.”

Ironmouse went on to say:

“Because I already know what people think and I already know how people treat VTubers. When a person ask me a st*pid question, I give them a st*pid answer. That’s what I have to say. They asked me what I looked like so I gave them the dumbest answer that I could give them. I was incredibly uncomfortable. I wanted to get out of there. I did not want to talk to them because I knew they were gonna ask me very invasive questions.”

The VTuber clarified that she was trying to be nice and not appease anybody. Meanwhile, during a streaming session, Ray apologised if he made her feel uncomfortable. However, he added:

“I thought it was a normal conversation. I went on Twitter today now RaKai called me, I was at [...] hshoot. I opened Twitter. That […] said me and RaKai got Ironmouse uncomfortable.”

What did RaKai ask Ironmouse at the 2025 Streamer Awards?

Ray felt that it was a decent conversation. Despite that, he reiterated that if he made Ironmouse uncomfortable, he was sorry about it. Meanwhile, as seen in a clip from the award ceremony, Ray and RaKai appeared too excited to see the VTuber. Ray asked her where she was, and the VTuber said she was at her house. RaKai told her:

“You are a legend.”

Ray said he wanted to ask a question, but then hesitated. Ironmouse told him that he could ask anything he wanted. This was followed by a question from RaKai, who asked:

“Are you black or white?”

She said that she was Puerto Rican. As per her Twitch profile, she describes herself as:

“I am a variety v-streamer who is addicted to anime, singing, voice acting, art, gaming and of course livestreaming and spending time with all of you. Right now my personal life is a bit hectic so it is difficult for me to have a set schedule but I do my best to be consistent.”

In another video, Ray said Ironmouse was a cool person. However, he said he would like to meet her next time. He also urged his viewers not to send clips of the VTuber in the chat.
