“I turned down 12 million dollars to share my abuse”: Brianna Chickenfry responds to ex Zach Bryan’s dig, hints at revealing new audio in her podcast

Brianna Chickenfry defends herself and responds to ex Zach Bryan’s musical dig.

Just when it had seemed that the messy breakup between Zach Bryan and Brianna Chickenfry, whose real name is Brianna LaPaglia, had calmed down, it is now flaring up again due to a now-deleted comment made by Zach.

This all started when country singer Zach Bryan released three new songs, and fans immediately started speculating who they could be about. Zach Bryan released “Streets Of London,” “River Washed Hair,” and “A Song For You,” out of which “River Washed Hair" seemed to be about La Pagli, as it is a story about a girl named Anna, which fans concluded could be about "BriANNA."

However, the Barstool Sports personality wasn't dragged into this until a TikTok user made a video to the song with the line about the “sweet girl,” with the caption, “did someone check on Bri.”

Zach Bryan then decided to clear it out himself by commenting,

“lmfao I said ‘sweet’ this is not about whatever she has going on hahahahahaah”

And that's when things took a turn as Chickenfry fired back,

"Lmao obviously he doesn’t think I’m sweet I turned down 12 million dollars to share my abuse while rose and Deb signed nda’s. Also fyi his songs aren’t about anyone he writes them drunk at 6am.”

Referring to her BFF’s podcast, she made another comment promising to release new recordings from their relationship.

“Also his comment just made me feel very excited to share some videos and stories of him this week on bffs. [C]an’t wait to release the fire pit recording.”

The fire pit recording refers to an incident on her birthday a while back, which she candidly explained in a tell-all on her BFFs podcast.

“We all like, sit around the fire and it’s pretty chill… It’s all of my family and my friends. And we’re sitting around the fire and he starts doing what he does, like throwing jabs, and I’m like, ‘What the f—?’ Like from across the fire, throwing jabs at my friends and calling people idiots. I’m like, it’s 11:30. I’m like, I gotta go to bed before my birthday. Hopefully he will follow me to bed"

She continues, "He doesn’t follow me. I go upstairs, I go to sleep. I wake up probably an hour and a half later to screaming… So I go downstairs into the basement of this house and it’s all my girlfriends crying… And I look outside and I have my aunt trying to control Zach.

Brianna further adds, "And there’s a recording of all of this that can never be out. Basically Zach just – we’re all hanging around the fire, and I guess he stood up at the fire and just starts screaming at my friends, ‘You’re not going to be anything, you’re a f—ing loser.’ Just the most horrible sh-t. Out of nowhere… When Zach’s in this zone there’s no containing it.”

The duo had made their relationship public in July 2023; however, they broke up a year later, as Zach Bryan had confirmed the breakup on his Instagram Stories in October 2024.

After taking a break from the toll of the breakup, LaPaglia returned to her podcast on November 8, 2024, and stated that she suffered emotional abuse during their relationship. Not only that, but apparently, the country singer's team had offered her a $12 million non-disclosure agreement, along with a New York City apartment, to prevent her from revealing details about their relationship. Brianna boldly declined,

“I’m not signing away my experiences and what I went through to protect someone that hurt me. I’m a lot stronger than a weak man, f** you and f*** your money.”

She further added, "The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude. I'm still scared right now because I'm scared of him. My brain's rewired and I'm scared to make him mad," which could connect to the fire pit incident and Zach Bryan's apparent erratic behaviour.

As Zach ended up deleting his comment, it cannot be decisively said if this internet beef will simmer down or boil over.
