Influencer Quenlin Blackwell opens up about reportedly using breast milk as skin care

Quenlin Blackwell, in a recent interview, revealed an unusual skincare hack that she partakes in. According to People Magazine, in an interview with the Imperfectly Perfect Newsletter, the social media star revealed that she uses breast milk for her beauty care regimen.

Quenlin Blackwell rose to fame in 2015 with her funny Vine videos and has now transitioned into the role of a full-fledged social media star, who has appeared on the cover of several magazines such as Dazed, Wonderland Magazine, Merde Magazine, among others.

Quenlin Blackwell sat down for an interview with the Imperfectly Perfect Newsletter back in April, where she revealed a previously unknown skincare routine that she follows daily.

In the interview, she said that she uses breast milk from her sister for her baths and even applies it to her face masks. According to the conversation, Blackwell recommends the use of breast milk to her fans, adding that top-tier ingredients should never be wasted. She said:

"My sister has been on a five-year baby streak, and I’ve been buying her breast milk for my baths and face masks."

She added:

"If you want top-tier skincare ingredients, don’t sleep on it."

Quenlin Blackwell, who is also known for her funny bone, said in a March interview with Hypebae that she channels her humor from the different events in her life for her comedy skits, a trait she learned from her mother. She said:

“I remember driving to the prison to see my dad and my mom just being hilarious. Those were the funniest yet hardest drives of my entire life. I think that was the root of my comedy. Laughing through hard times makes the hard times not bad times.”

According to People Magazine, Quenlin Blackwell is not the first celebrity to talk about using breast milk for their skincare routine. Back in 2023, Halsey revealed in an interview with Nylon that she realized, after the birth of her son Ender back in 2021, that using breast milk as an ingredient for skincare had a multitude of health benefits. She said:

"I started breastfeeding, and I figured out that breast milk is the best skincare ingredient ever because it's so full of antioxidants and good fats and stuff that speed up the healing process."

Quenlin Blackwell, who is also known for her fashion choices and other viral moments, said in an April interview with Merde Magazine how she expresses herself through fashion. She said:

"My relationship with fashion is rooted in self-expression. I view clothes as a means to express my personality. How you move, how you speak to people, what you wear is all an avenue to show who you are. When I was young my mom would take me shopping at fancy department stores where the rich people went that we couldn’t afford, but she showed me to touch the fabrics and feel the weight of the fabric and what quality materials were. I like to be sold a dream. I like well-made clothes not this fast stuff. Some of my favorite brands right now are Tank Air, Araks Lingerie, Miu Miu - I like the attainable cool girl who is fire."

In her interview with Imperfectly Perfect Newsletter, Quenlin Blackwell also revealed her favorite TV shows at the moment and talked about YouTube personality Larray, whose real name is Larri Merritt, calling him her "funniest friend on Earth."
