Ivanka Trump has shared a list of the top 12 books that shaped her year. As the year comes to an end, the daughter of President Trump took to X to pen a list of all the books that left an impact on her this year. In a detailed string of tweets, she explained how "Each one shifted my perspective, some softly, others profoundly. Some I return to again and again, not just for insight, but for alignment." "It restores women to the center of history and reminds us that some of the bravest acts of service are in the shadows," she penned. 2. Homer’s The Odyssey Ivanka Trump explained that, each year, she rereads some of the books her kids have been assigned in school. This year, she went through The Odyssey again for the fourth time alongside her daughter, Arabella. "The Odyssey honors the long arc of adventure: trials, temptation, wonder, and the resolve it takes to press on," she said of the book. 3. Ishmael by Daniel Quinn According to Trump, the book is a "quiet, radical dialogue" that forces us to question our definition of what being "civilized" is. It also makes us question "what we've traded away to sustain it." 4. The Creative Act by Rick Rubin The businesswoman described this book as: "A meditation on perceiving the world as art in motion and on discipline not as constraint, but as devotion." 5. The Choice by Dr. Edith Eger For her fifth recommendation, she touted the piece as "proof that even in profound darkness," freedom is a decision made within oneself. 6.
