Is Kai Cenat stepping away from Streamer University after controversy? Drama explained

Kai Cenat was seen crashing out during one of his live streams while talking about being criticized regarding his Streamer University project. Cenat announced that the University is taking in enrollments on May 6, and revealed the selected few on May 16, 2025. Since then, the Twitch streamer has received a mix of positive and negative comments about his latest project.

According to Dexerto, Cenat will be:

"scrapping future Streamer University plans after getting hate over who was picked to attend."

Kai Cenat said he was doing this to help other content creators and mentioned that it does not have anything to do with their identity as a creator. In his words:

"This is an idea and I know how exciting it may be to certain people, but like, bro don't... You don't have to let this determine who you are as a creator," the Twitch streamer said, while reading the slew of negative comments during his live stream.

Cenat reacted to a comment that said "it's YOUR sh*t btw" and shouted:

"It is my sh*t! F**k! That's the thing like, I never... Like, I'm never doing this sh*t again. I'm never doing this f**king sh*t again... Cause now I'm mad. Cause like, ni**a, no matter which direction I go, no matter which way I try to make sure thing is good, I always get the bad end of the stick."

The clip shared on Drama Alert on X concluded with Kai Cenat saying:

"Ni**a, my bank statements is f**king ridiculous behind this sh*t. Just not, nobody's paying a dime to be in this sh*t. This is strictly for me to help ni**as. I'm finna crash out."

What is Kai Cenat’s Streamer University?

Streamer University is a place where individuals who are interested in content creation and streaming can learn. It is meant to help them by making content creation more inclusive.
