Unwrapping more details as IShowSpeed wins Streamer Of The Year award at The Streamer Awards

IShow Speed turned heads as he won Streamer Of The Year award at The Streamer Awards, which were held on December 6. With this win, he beat ExtraEmily, PlaqueBoyMax, Kai Cenat, and JasonTheWeen who, were nominated on the list.

This award honors a streamer who consistently entertains, elevates their brand, and leaves a lasting impression on their viewers, as explained on the official website of The Streamer Awards.

Speed also won the award for Best IRL Streamer this year. The category stands for the streamer, “who dedicates themselves to creating the best IRL content by getting outside, exploring, traveling, or streaming life beyond their desktop setup,” as noted on the official website.

ExtraEmily, ChristinaandAmber, Chloe_IRL, were the nominees for this award including IShowSpeed himself.

Kai Cenat turned when he won four awards in a row, particularly for Best Just Chatting Streamer, Best Marathon Stream (for Mafiathon 3), Best Streamed Collab for his work with LeBron James, and Best Streamed Event for Streamer University.

According to viral clips and reports from The Streamer Awards, IShowSpeed playfully confronted Kai Cenat for not answering his phone calls, which turned into a light-hearted moment between the friends.

Cenat then answered that he is occupied filming the horror-comedy Livestream From Hell with Kevin Hart and Druski. He then admitted that he is hooked on watching Naruto, which has become his latest obsession and has been keeping him away from his phone lately.

The YouTuber then posted a tweet on X through his alternate account, @ronaldobetter07, praising Cenat for his “mature” transformation. He wrote:

“man i talked to kai last night and that’s really my brother man he’s really maturing to another person and i’m excited to see where that takes him, he really made streaming fun and exciting for me.”

In addition to being nominated for Streamer of the Year and Best IRL Streamer, IShowSpeed was also nominated for Best Marathon Stream for his Speed Does America tour. However, Kai Cenat took the win.
