Madame Tussauds Orlando has unveiled their new wax figure, and it is of popstar and actress Selena Gomez. The statue is designed to closely resemble the Call Me When You Break Up singer.

The wax studio modeled the figure after her 2023 MTV Video Music Awards look, featuring a deep red cut-out gown. The statue unveiling also comes days before this year’s VMAs, where the singer is nominated for her collaborative work with her fiancé, Benny Blanco — Best Collaboration for “Sunset Blvd” and Video for Good for “Younger And Hotter Than Me.”

Paul Gould, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Orlando, stated, “Selena Gomez is an international icon whose talent, style, and authenticity inspires millions around the world. We’re thrilled to honor her and welcome fans with this striking new wax figure, capturing one of her most memorable MTV VMA red-carpet looks.”

Fans showcased mixed reactions to the statue. While most thought it was quite accurate, some felt her features were exaggerated. Others expressed how creepy these statues altogether are. One user said,
