JD Vance sides with Nicki Minaj amid her feud with Cardi B. The Vice President of the United States took to X to reply to Cardi B's tweet where she said, "Vance > Rants, with:

"Nicki > Cardi"

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B's feud can be traced back to 2017 when fans alleged that Nicki Minaj didn't welcome Cardi for her appearance during Remy Ma's 2017 performance at Hot 97's Summer Jam Festival. The two have been feuding ever since and have taken to social media to diss each other.

How is JD Vance involved in the Nicki-Cardi feud?

While JD Vance is not directly involved in the Nicki-Cardi feud, Vance seems to be responding to Cardi B, amid her taking a dig at him.

In April, 2018, Nicki Minaj during an appearance on Zane Lowe's show on Beats 1, mentioned that Cardi's actions had hurt her:

"The only thing that Cardi did that really hurt my feelings was the first interview after 'Motorsport' came out. It just really hurt me because the only thing she kept sayig was, 'I didn't hear that verse. She changed her verse. I kind of felt ambushed."

In September, 2018, social media timelines were flooded with videos and photos of a Cardi and Nicki fight at the Harper's Bazaar Icons party during NYFW. Cardi appeared to have a giant lump on her head following the fight, and also took to Instagram to address the situation. Few days later, Nicki addressed the fight on Queen Radio.

While the two ultimately called for truce, their beef returned in November, 2018, when 6ix9ine allegedly hired the two women suing Cardi for a music video featuring Nicki and Kanye West. The two began dissing each other again.

Cardi released her album, Am i the Drama? which featured lead single, Imaginary Playerz where she disses Nicki. Cardi also appeared on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast, where she addressed who she's referring to when she talks about female rappers in the industry who cannot stand her.

"People have made this whole story that I came in the industry to like take over somebody's career or like make them think, but it's like I never thought about - I never thought. It's nothing more than just people didn't get along with each other and that's just that."

Nicki also slammed Cardi's first week sales of her latest album claiming that she was still the highest-selling female rapper of the decade.

The two most recently had an intense Twitter feud in September.
