Lil Baby is going viral for swiping Jack Doherty's $200K diamond-studded chain and scooting.

In clips circulating online, the rapper can be seen covertly unclasping the YouTuber's blingy jewelry before taking it off his neck. Doherty brushes it off with a smile, though the clip then cuts to later on, as he confronts Lil Baby for "taking his $200K chain."

The Atlanta rapper, who can be seen sitting in the front of his car, ready to drive away, brushes Jack Doherty's demands to give his chain back off. He also taunts the YouTuber by challenging him to “call the police”.

"Alright it's on camera, bro, like, he thinks he can take my chain and get away with it. This is hilarious. There's no way this is real," he laments in the clip.

The video has already amassed millions of views online, and towards the end of it, Lil Baby can be seen driving away in his G-Wagon nonchalantly. He has yet to comment on the situation, and it is unclear if he returned the chain. As of this writing, it is also unclear if Doherty got his chain back.

The internet reacts to Jack Doherty and Lil Baby's squabble:

Users have been poking fun at the situation all over social media, such as this one user who commented on X:

"Nah getting emoted on by the person that just stole your chain is devious work"

The comments didn't end there:

"This is why Lil Baby is the greatest artist of all time. He’s always embarrassing clowns when not making music and when making music," one user quipped.
"Whys he keep wearing expensive jewelry after getting robbed again and again…" someone else pointed out.
"imagine being so broke you gotta steal a lil n*gga chain," another penned.
"Bro said he thinks he can take my chain and just get away with it after he took hes chain and got away with it," a fourth user joked.

Even more chimed in to joke:

"Bro just got legally robbed," one user jokingly pointed out.
"$200k robbery on camera. How dumb can you be? Press charges, cut-n-dry case, he is in for a long time," another snarky user claimed.
"damn lil baby a savage," someone else quipped.
"At this point hes just doing it for clout lmfao," an X user penned.

Social media was visibly flooded with opinions, with one after the other shifting the blame from Jack Doherty to Lil Baby and vice versa.

Fans speculate that the debacle might be fake: Here's what we know

Fans were quick to point out that Jack Doherty should be more careful with his jewelry, seeing as how back in April this year, the 21-year-old YouTuber was robbed of a $300K chain. The incident took place on Rodeo Drive.

Hype Fresh has reported that just weeks later, Lil Baby offered to buy Doherty, who boasts 12.7 million subscribers on YouTube and a cumulative 23 million followers across Instagram and other platforms, a brand new chain. At the time, they met up on the streets, as seen in footage shared online by the internet personality.

Hence, fans were quick to speculate that the debacle between the two could be scripted as a way of Lil Baby showing Jack Doherty the perils of living a flashy lifestyle.
