Lil Nas X reportedly goes naked on Los Angeles streets in bizarre pre-arrest moment

Lil Nas X was hospitalised and arrested after he was seen walking around in LA, naked.

Page Six and TMZ have reported that the Old Town Road rapper, 26, was spotted sporting only white underwear and a pair of boots while sauntering around Ventura Boulevard. The incident reportedly took place at around 4 a.m. local time. Upon being questioned by a fan, he said that he was on his way to a party before he used an orange traffic cone as a hat.

Several people reported the incident before the Los Angeles Police Department responded at around 5:50 a.m. local time. The rapper then charged at the officers, prompting them to take him into custody and later “transported to a local hospital for a possible overdose.”

ABC7 has reported that Lil Nas X, legally known as Montero Lamar Hill, has since been booked on suspicion of misdemeanor obstructing an officer. NBC News has reported that the singer punched an officer twice in the face during the debacle. He was detained for a while, though officers later shifted him to a hospital. He was later released and taken back into detention within a few hours.

Page Six has reported that per records, he was booked at 11:22 a.m. local time and is currently being detained at Van Nuys Jail. He has yet to address the situation himself, and no word yet from his representatives either.

In videos leaked by TMZ, the rapper can be seen telling someone to “come to the party” in one video, and in another, he tells them:

“Didn’t I tell you to put the phone down?” He continued, while walking away: “Uh oh, someone’s going to have to pay for that."

In some videos, the Atlanta native can be seen strutting as if he's doing a catwalk, even striking a pose at one point.

Ahead of the fiasco, Lil Nas X left fans concerned when he took to his Instagram account to share a string of photos of what seemed to be a chaotic home with art and furniture scattered about. Two of the pics were mirror selfies of him, the caption of which read:

“And just like that she’s back. We’ve all waited so long. When dreamworld needed her the most. 😕🥲.” He captioned another selfie of himself, “OH NO sHES GONE MAD! CRAZY I TELL U! 😭🙏🏾😈❤️”

Page Six has reported that Lil Nas X has been vocal about his use of substances in the past, though it currently remains unclear if his recent fiasco can be attributed to the same.
