Lorde announces world tour dates, locations, and more details explored.
New Zealand-based singer Lorde has just announced her ‘ULTRASOUND’ World Tour. The singer is releasing her first album since 2021, "Virgin," on 27th June, along with a world tour on September 17th. The album is set to have 11 tracks, along with one song that is already out, "What was that."
With Pure Heroine in 2013, Melodrama in 2017, Solar Power in 2021, and now her fourth album, "Virgin," in 2025, the Royals singer also has a tendency to release songs at 4-year intervals.
In her post, Lorde wrote,
"Ultrasound ——— I am going on tour in support of my new album, Virgin. Very proud and excited to be bringing my most talented friends in support. Tickets on sale May 16, pre-sale May 14. Come see what’s under the skin."
The singer is going on tour with guests Blood Orange, The Japanese House, Nilufer Yanya, Chanel Beads, Empress Of, Jim-E Stack, and Oklou.
Fans react to Lorde's upcoming tour
With the lack of any new music for the past 4 years, fans are thrilled for the world tour and the new album.
One excited fan stated, "Sounds like it’s gonna be crazy"
Another expressed, "Mother please tell me tickets are cheap"
One longtime fan also exclaimed, "Did you know Lorde curated the entire soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1? She didn’t just drop hits, she built an entire dystopian vibe. Touring Virgin is just her next world-building era."
While one user joked, "JUMPING OFF A BRIDGE SO I CAN GET AN ULTRASOUND FROM LORDE"
However, some fans are complaining about the common phenomenon of artists claiming "World Tour," and it has just been the USA and Europe.
One user questioned, "where is mexico babes???????????????? are we not part of the world???? 2 dates last tour and now we get nothing????"
Another joined in, "Ah yes yes, the classic 'world' tour with USA and Europe shows exclusively"
While one fan expressed at the lack of tour dates, "Right lol I went all the way to Minneapolis to see her for SP and idk where I’ll go this time"
The ULTRASOUND tour, as of now, has 38 dates with concerts scheduled in major cities across the USA as well as Montreal and Toronto in Canada. After the US and Canada, the tour sets out to Europe with dates in major cities including Paris, London, Dublin, Zurich, Berlin, Stockholm, Luxembourg, and more.
