MrBeast rented out the entire Disneyland theme park for a date in his newest YouTube video, and fans cannot stop swooning.
In his latest stunt gone viral, the internet personality, who is also one of the most successful YouTubers, shelled out $500,000 to shut down the Disneyland Park in California for his bride-to-be.
Legally known as Jimmy Donaldson, he uploaded the video, titled “$1 vs $500,000 Romantic Date!“, which saw him trying to manufacture an unforgettable day for his fiancée. It saw them tour the entire park, go on empty rides, and even have a gourmet meal made by none other than Gordon Ramsay.
Fans have since begun gushing over the couple, with many appreciating MrBeast for doing this for his partner. Here's how one fan reacted, for instance:
"Thats really cute, also a massive flex."
The comments didn't end there:
"Wasn't he just complaining about not having enough money?" one naysayer pointed out.
"Did he borrow the money from his mom for this too?" someone else quipped.
"Atp im only gon be a shocked when he rents the White House for a video and acts like president for a day," another jokingly chimed in.
"bro rented disneyland and i can’t even get a “wyd” text," a fourth user joked.
A few users, however, were disappointed with the YouTuber, who just days ago tweeted that he was borrowing money from his own mother for his forthcoming wedding.
"Didn't he just claim he's not rich by saying all the funds he gets are for content creation not personal use," one user noted.
"Bro's gonna rent the whole Earth for a 'video' someday," someone else joked.
"Dude can’t pay for his own wedding but he can rent out an entire theme park?" yet another questioned.
"Only MrBeast could pull off renting out all of Disneyland for a date — next level generosity and showmanship," a fan appreciated.
Opinions were visibly divided, though nearly everyone online was apprehensive about his spending capabilities, given his tweet. Nonetheless, MrBeast also joined the ongoing discourse as he tweeted:
"It’s a fun video"
MrBeast says he's too broke to fund his own wedding to Thea Booysen: Read more
The billionaire entrepreneur took to X just days ago to reveal that he's not liquid enough to fund his own upcoming nuptials with fellow content creator Thea Booysen. In his June 1 tweet, he responded to a comment that said he was “the only billionaire under 30 to have not inherited his wealth":
“I have very little money because I reinvest everything (I think this year we’ll spend around a quarter of a billion on content),” the 27-year-old wrote, adding, “Ironically, I’m borrowing $ from my mom to pay for my upcoming wedding lol. But sure, on paper the businesses I own are worth a lot.”
MrBeast, who reportedly boasts a net worth of $1 billion according to Celebrity Net Worth, is known for his philanthropy, as well as Beast Games, his collaboration with Amazon Prime. He boasts 400 million subscribers on YouTube alone, though he doesn't advise other aspiring content creators to quit cold turkey and pursue it full time:
“It’s painful to see people quit their job/drop out of school to make content full time before they’re ready,” he penned on X in March 2024. “For every person like me that makes it, thousands don’t. Keep that in mind and be smart plz.”
When he hit 400 million subscribers on YouTube, MrBeast took to X to acknowledge his journey:
“A decade ago before I blew up everyone in my life told me I was too obsessed and constantly told I’d never make it. Despite that I was in love with making content and grinded every moment my eyes were open for 7 years before anyone started watching," he penned. “I literally told my mom I’d rather be homeless than do anything else.”
He added,
“The greatest gift in life is being able to wake up everyday with a purpose and thanks to YouTube and you guys, I have that.”
As for his forthcoming wedding to his partner, whom he met while on a trip to South Africa, her hometown, in 2022, the pair is reportedly considering keeping things intimate and private.
MrBeast popped the big question this past December, on Christmas Day.
"In my mind, we're already married. We're already on the same page. We talk about children, how we're going to live together when we're 70 years old … this was just another step in the process," she told PEOPLE Magazine in January 2025.
