Singer Tish Hyman shared her thoughts on the Gold’s Gym controversy. The incident happened a few days ago when the singer got into a verbal altercation with a trans woman named Alexis Black. Following the incident, she was reportedly no longer allowed in the gym.Tish Hyman recently sat down with Laura Ingraham on the latter’s show to discuss the incident. Ingraham asked if this incident was normal for people to expect. Hyman said:“Yes. Right now, women all across America are unprotected from being harassed, s*xually assaulted, and whatever in women's private spaces like locker rooms and massage places that should be women's only. Men can say they identify and they're a woman, and that's all it takes.”On the show hosted by Fox News, they showed Alexis Black’s statement, who said:“I'm aware of the claims circulating online, and they do not reflect what actually happened. I never exposed myself to anyone. I was repeatedly filmed and harassed in the women's locker room without my consent.”Reacting to the statement, Tish Hyman said if one has their senses intact, they can understand that the person was “unhinged.” Referring to Black as “he,” Hyman said that Alexis had beaten up their former spouse after which she had to get a facial surgery. Hyman also said:“He went into the sauna with women. I spoke to women over the time that I was dealing with this trying to figure out how to help us and figure out what to do. And there was one girl that came from South Carolina. He got in a sauna with her. She was naked and he sat right next to her in a sauna.”Tish Hyman reflects on women's empowerment in light of the Gold’s Gym controversySpeaking to Laura Ingraham, Tish Hyman said that the place also had an all-gender restroom but Alexis did not use it. Meanwhile, Alexis also shared a statement about their alleged criminal past to Fox News. They said:“I take full responsibility for the past choices that led to legal consequences. I completed all obligations, rebuilt my life, and have dedicated myself to helping others heal through embodiment and accountability. I am living proof that people can evolve.”Laura Ingraham then asked Tish Hyman what her message to business owners who make claims about women's empowerment and provide spaces where they could have moments of privacy. Hyman said that her message to everyone would be that woman “birth the whole world.” As such, they need to be given protection by law as millions of women have no legal immunity. She also said:“There are laws that need to change. There's terminology that needs to change. We need to get things completely rooted in honesty. Right now, the whole entire ideology is rooted in lies. And that's why we can't come to anything. We have to understand that this is not a red and blue issue. This is a pink and blue issue.”Tish Hyman said that this was a “nonpartisan issue” that concerns the safety of women. She said that this event needed the attention of legislators because whoever didn’t support women’s safety needed to be overthrown.
