Creators MrBeast and Mark Rober joined forces to start #TeamWater, an environmental fundraising initiative that aims to raise $40 million by August 31 to support and provide clean water to two million people globally.
The initiative is in collaboration with international nonprofit WaterAid, and has received donations from over 3,000 creators from 84 countries.

More about MrBeast's TeamWater initiative
MrBeast's TeamWater initiative also includes TeamTrees and TeamSeas, which have collectively raised more than $50 million to plant 20 million trees and remove 30 million pounds of trash from natural water bodies.
The YouTuber, in a joint statement, said,
"We've seen the power of the internet when it rallies behind a cause. Now, we're taking on clean water because no one should have to live without it."
Kelly Parsons, CEO of WaterAid America, in another statement, said,
"Every dollar raised will fund long-term sustainable water solutions, from solar powered wells to gravity-fed pipelines delivering clean water to millions, for generations to come."
In another video, Beast chided Adin Ross and his community for raising more than $50k in an hour for TeamWater. He seemed surprised at the amount of donations since he believed that Ross' community was "super toxic" and said that "it's not adding up."
Adin Ross, while responding to the comment, asked the audience to "clip that and post that."
