BTS' Taehyung has been in the news lately, particularly for his appearance in different posters and ad films of Compose Coffee. Shortly after the release of the coffee chain’s new campaign and menu with Kim Taehyung, the label earned an award as one of the Top 100 Franchises of 2025 in the coffee category by the renowned Maeil Business Newspaper.

The Maeil business newspaper is a distinguished awards event that recognized Compose Coffee as the top-performing franchise of 2025 after assessing 12,000 licensed franchises in Korea.

Subsequent to the designation of brand ambassador V, sales in 2024 attained 88.8 billion KRW, while operating profit escalated to 36.6 billion KRW. Compose Coffee surpassed its rivals in profitability, achieving a 41.3% operating margin, which is more than double that of its rivals, and is regarded as the leading domestic coffee brand.

Compose Coffee is poised for further expansion into Southeast Asia after the acquisition of management rights by the multinational franchise conglomerate Jollibee Foods.

Jollibee expects that Compose Coffee will emerge as its main brand by store count, with global sales projected to increase by over 40%. Compose Coffee's operational profit margin of 41.3% notably surpasses Mega Coffee's 18.8% and The Venti's 14.6%, which rank second and third, in that order.

Compose Coffee's growth into the Southeast Asian market is following the brand's investment of 6 billion KRW in December in a marketing campaign, which included BTS' Taehyung as its representative.


Fans glad to see BTS' Taehyung’s impact on Compose Coffee

Many fans gave their mixed reactions to V’s significant impact on Compose Coffee’s profits. While some pointed out how the idol single-handedly boosted Compose Coffee’s name, others claimed that BTS' Taehyung makes the brand famous.

Some fans labeled him as the blue chip of the industry, while others said that the Winter Ahead vocalist has an unmatched impact.

“The main goal of an ambassador is exposure for the brand they promote. Tae gave them international exposure before they even went international and their profit is off the roof. No wonder @Compose_Coffee rolled out the golden red carpet for Taehyung.,” stated a fan.
“Tae elevates every brand he touches into a profitable force and that’s real influence.,” commented an admirer.

BTS' Taehyung crafted new drinks for Compose Coffee

As shown in the latest Compose Coffee campaign, Kim Taehyung crafted new drinks on the menu. These drinks have been named after Italian musical terms, called allegro, staccato, and serenade.

In related news, V also posed for another beverage conglomerate, Coca-Cola. The BTS idol appeared in Coca-Cola Zero Campaign.
