Nicole Brenda Santos Marins, Brazilian Fitness influencer, dies at 28

Nicole Brenda Santos Marins has reportedly died at the age of 28. According to National World, she was involved in a collision in Palhoca, Brazil, on Monday, August 18.

Per the outlet, the fitness influencer cum personal trainer lost her life when her motorbike collided with the rear end of a car parked on BR-101 at around 8:20 p.m. Per ND Mais, the Federal Highway Police (PRF) has since revealed that the accident involved three different vehicles, including Nicole's Honda Biz.

There was a Fiat Doblò involved, whose driver reportedly came out unharmed. He halted his car before the incident due to mechanical issues. As for the third vehicle, its 31-year-old driver reportedly absconded from the scene and has yet to be identified. Per The Sun, she was flung from her vehicle and landed in the middle of the road, which is when the large vehicle hit her and drove off.

Per G1 Santa Catarina, Nicole Brenda Santos Marins, who now leaves behind her son, was known for sharing her workout regimen online, where she pushed her fans "to become [their] best version." She worked at a gym in the Praia de Fora and also held classes remotely.

Alisson Cravo, her partner, has since paid tributes to the late fitness influencer on Instagram, referring to her as an "incredible, warrior, and hardworking."

"A wonderful mother, unfolded to see her prince's smile. A woman of value, partner, simple, humble, with a giant heart, who transmitted kindness and light," he wrote.

He also shared some throwback photos on Nicole Brenda Santos Marins' social media account, which had about 3,200 followers. In one of them, she can be seen sharing a hot air balloon ride with him in Praia Grande, the south side of the state, just last weekend. She was also seen riding a horse and a quad bike with him in the photos.

"A very well lived weekend. Full of experiences and emotions that will be kept in our memory," he published on Sunday (17).

Per ND Mais, Nicole Brenda Santos Marins' wake has been scheduled for this Wednesday, August 20, from 7 am to 11 am. It will be held at the Saint Hilaire cemetery in Viamão, Porto Alegre. The Sun has reported that an investigation into the exact circumstances surrounding her demise is still ongoing.

The news comes days after fellow content creators Stacey Tourout and Matthew Yeomans plunged to their deaths when their car skidded off a mountain. They reportedly lost control of their car while traversing across the mountains near Trout Lake in British Columbia, Canada.
