Fitness professional Ashton Hall and record producer DJ Khaled collaborated on a fitness session. On May 22, 2025, Hall posted a video of the two doing heavy sprints together. The video comes ahead of the release of Khaled’s 14th studio album, Aalam of God.
Meanwhile, X account Fear Buck posted a behind-the-scenes video of the same. Social media had different reactions to the video, with one X user commenting:
“This is extremely cringe I feel like DJ Khaled has been trying to convince us he stays fit for years now. Nobody wants this collab.”
Many X media users appeared surprised as they thought the video was made through AI.
“DJ Khaled just had to pop out with the two Rolls Royce!” a social media user reacted.
“Lmfao i thought that video was ai,” a platform user claimed.
“Hey, at least somebody got him running. Lol Go Khaled!” an online commentator mentioned.
While many X users praised Ashton Hall, others seemed displeased with the video.
“Ashton really just doing high knees to keep it modest for Khaled,” an internet user claimed.
“This is going to be crazy asf,” a netizen remarked.
“I remember seeing Ashton Hall filming some podcast in Miami on the street kinda crazy how the internet can just make you famous,” another X user recounted.
“And why is this even necessary? What’s the point? OMG SO ANNOYING,” a media user opined.
As seen in another BTS video circulating online, the record producer showed the sneakers, vest, and shades he wore for the run. He claimed that this was the new look.
DJ Khaled launched Ashton Hall as his trainer in an Instagram post
According to Complex, DJ Khaled previously joked that he didn’t consider it "losing weight," but rather just "getting rid of it," because he believed in always winning. He thanked Ashton Hall for his time and praised his viral running videos, saying they inspired him from the moment they met.
Khaled recalled asking Ashton Hall to bring out a black truck and some workout gear, like a vest and athletic tape, so they could capture the moment together. Hall replied that it had all happened less than a day earlier.
On May 21, 2025, DJ Khaled shared an Instagram post that featured him and Ashton Hall. In the caption, he wrote:
“Today decided to go to the gym ! Meet my trainer Spring is here summer is near.”
DJ Khaled was a guest on The Dr. Oz Show, where he explained that he didn’t believe in making excuses, even with his busy schedule, and aimed to work out for at least 30 minutes a day.
He joked that he already saw himself as a s*x symbol. He believed that before making any major decisions in life or career, it was important to feel good, whether exercising or getting a fresh haircut.
During the conversation, Dr. Oz brought up Khaled's well-known phrase about "they," referring to people who try to bring others down. Khaled said the key to success was avoiding such negative individuals altogether.
