On December 21, Nicki Minaj made a surprise appearance at TPUSA AmFest, when she joined Erika Kirk on stage. The Anaconda rapper attended the event on the last day. The TPUSA AmFest kicked off on December 18 and it will wrap up on December 21.

The social media was shocked with Nicki’s arrival at the event, which sparked mixed reactions from netizens.

One of them on X commented: “Not even Charlie Kirk would be happy about this.”

One them wrote: “Since when did Nicki Minaj become a political figure is her career over? Candace Owen will have a field day today.”
Another netizen called it a plot twist. “Nicki at America Fest. Now that's a plot twist.”
One of them commented: “There is no coming back from this, she’s truly over.”
Another internet user seemed disappointed with Nicki Minaj joining Erika Kirk on stage: “This is genuinely disappointing to see. actively showing support for groups and people who stand against gay rights, trans rights etc. and goes against some of the largest sections of your fan base..”
An online user commented: “Is that a real video or AI, that is an unexpected plot twist I didn't see coming. I'm confused... Nicki is the least conservative person in the music industry. I do like Nicki's music. I just feel the matrix is glitching!”
Another netizen wrote: “All she had to do was lay low for the rest of 2025 but instead she digs the hole deeper to ruin her image to be Maga."

Nicki Minaj praised President Trump and his administration on TPUSA AmFest stage

When Erika Kirk asked Nicki Minaj, her views about President Trump and vice president, she said:

“I have the utmost respect and admiration for our president. He has I don't know if he even knows this, but he's given so many people hope that there's a chance to beat the bad guys and to win and to do it um with your head held high and um your integrity intact."

She went on to say that President Trump’s administration is full of people with heart and soul.

“Um, but this administration is full of people with heart and soul. Um, andhthey make me proud of them. um our vice president. He makes me well I love both of them. But they're both powerful men, smart, strong, all of that. But both of them have a very uncanny ability to be someone that you relate to.”

Lastly, Nicki Minaj added that she feels President Trump is connected to all types of people, including rich, young, and old.

“They haven't lost touch of the world. You know, they're still connected to the world and what's happening in the world. Um with the younger people and older people, with the richer people and not so rich people, they have the ability to still connect and be real and make us feel proud to be American.”

Several stars and close acquaintances of the late Charlie Kirk including Ben Shapiro, Megyn Kelly, Tucker Carlson, and more took over the stage to pay tributes to him.
