Political commentator Candace Owens recently made global headlines after she accused the Macrons of paying for her assassination. For the unversed, the conservative media personality recently claimed that a high-ranking official in the French government informed her that the First couple of France allegedly paid for her assassination.

In her subsequent posts, she claimed that French Legionnaires were involved in Charlie Kirk's murder. Candace Owens reaffirmed these allegations on Candace episodes and in her social media posts.

On Friday, FBI director Kash Patel appeared on Megyn Kelly's show, wherein the podcaster discussed Owens' accusations.

"There's been an allegation made by prominent podcaster Candace Owens that she has received a death threat, a credible death threat from the French. That a threat has been made on her life and that the French, she's been told, also may have had a role in Charlie's assassination. Have you looked into either of those?" Kelly questioned.

The FBI director did not specifically say anything about Owens' contentions. He said that any credible threat on Americans would be investigated.

"Any American that receives a death threat from overseas or anywhere in America is going to be fully investigated. So, we're not going to turn our eye away from that investigation or any others. If there's anything to it, this FBI will respond to it... We are just looking at everything that comes in. We're not going to reject any piece of information. If someone feels that their life is being threatened, we are, of course, looking at it," Kash Patel responded.

Candace Owens recently alleged the FBI did not respond to her complaints

After publicly making allegations against the French, Candace Owens shared in a post that she had provided the information related to her claims to government authorities. In her December 1 podcast episode, she alleged that she did not hear back from the FBI.

"The FBI left me on read. And I will say I didn't go through an official channel and send an email, and I should do that, but I did send a text message to somebody very high up who received the text message. No response. Now, I thought that the claim of the French Foreign Legion being involved in Charlie's assassination, I thought the FBI might be interested. No. No phone calls even from Utah's FBI branch have come into me either," Owens commented.

Candace Owens has also raised doubts on Charlie Kirk's organization TPUSA. On Friday, Megyn Kelly asked the FBI director if he had any credible reason to believe that anyone connected with the TPUSA had "anything to do with Charlie's death." Kash Patel refuted the suspicion, saying, "Zero."
