“OK, but WHY would you say that to your wife?!”: Fans react to Justin Bieber’s Vogue confession about Hailey

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Justin Bieber revealed he once doubted his wife, Hailey Bieber's, ability to make it to the cover of Vogue.

On the heels of his wife's Vogue cover issue release, the former child star took to Instagram to congratulate her. Justin Bieber, who shares son Jack Blues with Hailey, recalled an instance where he and his wife got into a huge fight, prompting him to say some regrettable things, including that she would never make it to the cover of the prolific magazine.

Fans have since begun flocking to X to slam him, with many even noting there was no reason he had to speak to her like that. Here's what one user penned on X, for instance:

"OK, but WHY would you say that to your wife?!"

The comments didn't end there:

"“I was sadly mistaken” so you’re sad you were wrong?????" one user questioned.

"He seriously hates his wife cause why would he say that he’s weird," someone else opined.

"I can’t believe he not only said this but then admitted he said this," another pointed out.

"Can he like…idk stop embarrassing her?!? Like we do NOT need to know this," yet another chimed in.

Even more chimed in to react:

"Imagine doubting your wife’s potential just because she argued with you," one user pointed out.

"Not every partner has to be supportive. Especially since it seems like she isn’t supportive to him. He said what he said, and congrats to her for getting on Vogue. But I am sure she said worse to him," someone else defended.

"Imagine telling Hailey Bieber she won’t get Vogue, the disrespect," another chimed in.

"And his fans swear he doesn’t hate her???? Who would say that in an argument with their wife," yet another wrote.

Users could not help but slam Justin Bieber for "embarrassing" his wife on a public platform.

"Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight. I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue, Yikes I know, so mean. For some reason because I felt disrespected I thought I gotta get even.. I think as we mature we realize that we're not helping anything by getting even we're honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection. So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn't get a vogue cover cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken."

The Sorry singer promptly deleted his Instagram post, though in a Vogue video titled 'Inside Hailey Bieber's Saint Laurent Bag', Hailey Bieber pushed back on all her trolls. She took out her phone and quipped,

"This is my phone. Very straightforward, obviously."

Referencing rumors that she continually stalks and copies Justin Bieber's ex, Selena Gomez, she joked:

"These are a couple more that I keep on me. I really just use them for a lot of the simple stuff like surfing anonymously, commenting, stalking, viewing girls' pages, making multiple accounts. You know, that kinda thing," while pulling out six more phones.

She concluded the video,

"Last but not least, this is a little tincture potion that I got. I would say probably when I was around 12, my dad flew me to go meet with this witch who lived in the mountains and she made this specifically for me." She added, "She told me that it would make a young Canadian pop star fall in love with me. Yeah, been taking this one for years. Love it, and yeah, thanks dad."

Hailey and Justin Bieber have long been on the brutal end of speculation, with many contending that their union is on the brink of its demise. However, in a recent interview with Vogue, Hailey refuted the rumors, though she revealed that the hate she gets online can take its toll on her sometimes.
