POORSTACY's child's mother has been arrested, TMZ has reported. The outlet states that Nicole Grikstas has been accused of using drugs in the presence of their young child in the days leading up to the rapper's death. Furthermore, she and her child were reportedly in the room when the rapper died by suicide. POORSTACY, whose real name is Carlito Milfort, died on Saturday by a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Grikstas was arrested hours after, with authorities booking her on "child neglect without causing great bodily harm charges." The details surrounding POORSTACY's girlfriend's arrest and his 2023 domestic violence charges explored: TMZ has reported that, per a Boca Raton Police affidavit, authorities interviewed POORSTACY's ex at the police station hours after he was found dead in a hotel room. There, she reportedly recounted the hours leading up to his demise. She reportedly informed the cops that she and her child checked into a motel in the area a week before the rapper's demise, where they allegedly consumed excessive amounts of drugs with their child present. This allegedly includes cocaine, MDMA, and Xanax. Nicole also allegedly told cops that she and the rapper argued through the night, accusing each other of cheating. Police have accused her of not removing their child from the environment. She also claimed that the latter hit her several times before he pulled out a gun and threatened her. However, he pulled the trigger on himself in the early hours of Saturday morning. POORSTACY was reportedly arrested in 2023 for domestic abuse-related charges. At the time, their child was reportedly one month old when he harmed them and his girlfriend in a violent outburst. Several reports state that the fight broke out out when Nicole came across texts to other women on his phone. It allegedly escalated to him slapping her and dragging her by her hair. He also reportedly threw a bassinet with his child in it, forcing Nicole to catch them before they hit the floor. Furthermore, he threw a cage with a hamster in it at Nicole, leaving her with scratches and bruising. He was arrested on battery and child neglect charges and consequently booked into Broward County Main Jail. However, he was eventually let go on a $6,000 bond. Just last year, he took to his social media to inform his fans that all charges against him had been dropped. Stay tuned to SoapCentral for more.
