Prince William is keeping his late mother, Princess Diana's legacy, alive through his son, Prince George.

The Prince of Wales, 43, took his son, George, 12, to The Passage in Victoria, London, this week. The charity is reportedly close to his heart as his mother took him there when he was younger, according to People Magazine.

He first went there at the age of 11. The palace also revealed over the weekend that George signed the visitors' book at the charity on the exact same page as his father and late grandmother.

During their visit, the father-son duo prepared care packages and baked cupcakes for attendees. They also helped in decorating the Christmas tree, the outlet has reported.

The official account of the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a photo on Instagram of William and his mother, Diana, as well as of the former and his son, George. The caption read,

"Christmas at The Passage, 22 years apart December 1993: Diana, Princess of Wales, Prince William and Passage Chefs. December 2025: Prince William, Prince George and Head Chef Claudette."

Kensington Palace said in a statement:

"It was here that his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, brought Prince William when he was 11 years old, an experience that helped inspire The Prince's lifelong commitment to tackling homelessness and later the creation of Homewards, his programme demonstrating that it is possible to end homelessness."

In November, The Mirror reported that the future king was teaming up with Gordon Brown to shed light on the issue of homelessness and how to prevent it. The former Labour Prime Minister’s charity focuses on furnishing the homes provided by William with essentials, including fridges, washing machines, and utensils.

Brown told the outlet that their goal is to make “houses become homes” for those who are struggling. He also remarked that the future king was following in the “great tradition” of his mother.

“I think dealing with the tragedy of homelessness, the possibilities of solving the problem is what Prince William is doing. It's not just drawing attention to homelessness but addressing it by getting people into houses that become homes because they are probably furnished."

The former PM announced his joint partnership with William’s Homewards last month. It is a five-year programme that aims to tackle the issue and make homelessness "rare, brief and unrepeated".
