Logan Paul signs streamer RaKai for his beverage brand PRIME.
Twitch streamer 2xRaKai, better known as RaKai, is finally getting the right attention as he signs a deal with YouTuber and wrestler Logan Paul's beverage brand PRIME. The 16-year-old who mainly makes IRL and Just Chatting streams and is friends with streaming powerhouse Kai Cenat is reportedly the youngest content creator to secure a deal with the brand. Not only that, Paul also gifted the youngster his "first chain", with an oversized "PRIME" pendant.
This news comes more than 10 days after he was banned from Twitch due to his reckless behaviour. The ban was instilled due to his reckless behaviour on a live stream where the 16-year-old streamer was texting while driving, taking his hands off the wheel, and doing other "stunts" for views. The video blew up on social media, leading to his ban from the platform. But this wasn't even the first time the streamer, who is jokingly known as Kai Cenat's son, has been banned from the streaming platform.
Fans react to RaKai getting the deal
Though some of his fans seemed to support him on this venture and congratulate him, quite a few viewers couldn't understand the hype and didn't think he deserved it.
One user commented, "Why does he deserve this collab I understand the hype for sport players but f*cking Rakai? I and everyone else will no longer be drinking that shit drink anyways"
To which another explained, "Logan’s a genius marketer bro he knows rakai gone push prime to his young audience I’m sure he wanted a young creator to market prime to the youth Genius"
One person stated, "one week he was texting and driving, the next he gets a prime deal..."
Another reflected on his fanbase, "now his 8 year old fans will drink that poison smh"
One supportive user stated, "I've seen many ppl hating, regardless that boy done made it in life so you all should get a life"
A lot of people also credited Cenat for his success, as the young streamer has joined him on quite a few streams, gaining traction and attention.
One user said, "The Kai Cenat effect is crazy"
Another agreed, "Thanks to the help of Kai Cenat"
"All thanks to that midget Kai 💀 he ain’t work for nun," one person expressed.
Prime has, over time, boasted a range of ambassadors from creators to sports players, including IShowSpeed, Haaland, Patrick Mahomes, and more.
