Roger Bonds, who used to be in charge of security for Sean "Diddy" Combs, has given new details about the connections and interactions involving the music tycoon, singer Cassie Ventura, and actress Lauren London. These revelations come as Diddy faces close examination due to ongoing legal issues, including a high-profile case related to sex trafficking.
In an interview with VLAD TV, Bonds remembered a talk he had with Cassie Ventura where she expressed amazement at being part of Diddy's close group. She said at one point,
"Oh, I feel like Jennifer Lopez," hinting at a comparison between herself and the world-famous singer and actress who once dated Diddy.
Bonds also thought back to Cassie's early career in the music world and her goals, pointing out that she seemed to look up to those who had dealt with being famous. He talked about a time in Miami in 2008 when he and Cassie had a fun moment together.
"She said, 'Oh my god, I can't believe I'm smoking some w**d with Puff's security,'" Roger Bonds remembered.
Her response seemed to indicate how much she felt the impact of celebrities around her while she was with Diddy.
Roger Bonds recalls incident involving missing jewelry, Lauren London, and Diddy’s display of control
The interview touched on a claimed incident about missing jewelry. Reports have stated that Cassie was locked in a room and made to take lie detector tests. Roger Bonds claimed that he wasn’t there when the incident happened but heard about it from others in their circle. He shared that the situation involved around $2 million in jewelry and happened at one of Diddy’s offices.
The conversation also shifted to actress Lauren London. Bonds mentioned she was often seen with Diddy’s associate, Capricorn. When asked if London was around a lot, Bonds replied,
“All the time.”
He added that it was sometimes tricky to figure out whether people were tied to Diddy or through others like Capricorn because of how close the group was.
Roger Bonds talked about a moment where Diddy showed control over Cassie while others, including London, watched.
According to testimony discussed in the interview, Diddy allegedly instructed Cassie to perform a series of tasks, such as sitting, standing, walking, and retrieving objects, while making a point about why others in the room didn’t have someone like him.
Bonds claimed that Diddy often liked putting on a show even if it embarrassed others. he explained,
“He doesn’t mind making someone look bad as long as he looks good,” highlighting the power dynamics seen with him.
Cassie Ventura dated Sean Combs on and off for more than 10 years before they broke up. She has accused Combs of abuse and control in both legal and public statements. Combs has rejected these claims.
As the case moves forward, testimonies and interviews, including one by Roger Bonds, are revealing more about Diddy’s inner circle and the lives of people who were close to him.
