Twitch streamer Tectone received his third ban of 2025, sparking new talks about how the platform handles rule-breaking. The week-long suspension started on June 5.

Tectone, famous for speaking his mind and having loyal fans, talked about the ban in a video on social media. He said Twitch banned him for breaking rules about sex talk and mean words. He admitted he used some strong language when fighting with streamers Denims and Minx, but said he was just defending himself from what he thought were personal attacks and lies.

"Why did Twitch deem me worthy of a seven day ban? Because I called them wh***s. Yep! I called two women with On*yF*ns wh***s, which is, by the way, by definition, a factual statement. On*yF*ns girls who are sex workers are pr*st*tutes. Pr*st*tutes are wh***s. Wh***s are pr*st*tutes. Pr*stitutes are s*x workers," he said.

This whole thing has people talking more about where Twitch draws the line between defending yourself and breaking the rules. This recent action comes after Tectone faced two earlier bans this year.

The first ban resulted from body-related remarks about another streamer, while the second stemmed from a heated back-and-forth with a viewer. Although Tectone has owned up to mistakes in past incidents, he still wonders if Twitch enforces its rules across the platform. He said:

"I got banned for two weeks for calling a fat person fat. I got banned for seven days for calling a wh***e a wh***e. Now, I'm sorry if that terminology upsets you, but the problem is, that doesn't make it any less true, and the reality is, when I go live, and I tell the truth and I get banned for seven days."

He added:

"I'm only calling them that out of defense because they have provoked me, accusing me of crimes that I have not committed whatsoever. Going in on allegations that went f**king nowhere almost a year ago now. I think it's pretty reasonable I call them a name or two," he added.

In his latest statements, he highlighted cases involving other popular creators, arguing that similar actions have gone without punishment in some instances.

After his latest suspension, Tectone started checking out other platforms. He shared plans to switch to Kick, a competing streaming service that has earned attention because it allows more freedom in content and offers creators a better revenue split.

Whether Tectone’s Twitch ban remains in place or is reduced, as in previous cases, the broader conversation continues. For streamers, the stakes are high — suspensions can affect income, audience growth, and public perception. As Twitch remains the dominant force in livestreaming, its handling of moderation will likely stay under scrutiny from creators seeking transparency and consistency.
