Nicki Minaj made an unexpected appearance at TPUSA AmFest on December 21. The rapper joined Erika Kirk on stage for a small interview. The rapper attended the event on its final day.

While talking to Erika Kirk, Nicki had a major slip of the tongue, where she referred to JD Vance as an ‘assassin.’ This happened when Erika Kirk asked Nicki about her thoughts on young men. To this, Nicki replied:

“Don't be no sc*m. Young men, you have amazing role models like our handsome dashing president and you have amazing role models like the Assassin JD Vance, our vice president.”

Nicki Minaj took an awkward pause when she realized her mistake. Erika seemingly handled the situation by saying:

Erika: “There nothing new under the sun that I have not heard. So you're fine… You let it roll right off your back…”

Erika further added:

“I love this woman. She's an amazing woman. She has a soul and a heart for the Lord. And words are words, but I know her heart and it doesn't even matter. And you say what you wanna say because I know your heart…”

The clip of Nicki calling Vice President an ‘assassin’ quickly went viral on social media, therefore, netizens swamped the internet with their reactions to the rapper’s alleged slip of tongue. One of them claimed that it was not a mistake and highlighted how she referred to Vance as assassin in her December 11 post:

“That was not a mistake.”
