“That’s a big if though”: Fans react as Kai Cenat announces to bring in LeBron James for Mafiathon 3

Popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat, during day 1 of Mafiathon 3, announced that he will bring in LeBron James on Mafiathon 3 when he hits 1 million subscribers. Cenat also noted that James will appear to shave his head.

"Once we hit a million, the person that will be shaving my head will be LeBron James. "

Cenat's Mafiathon 3 commenced today, on September 1, 2025, Monday. Kai Cenat took to X to announce that the first day of the event will begin at 6:00 PM PT. Mafiathon is Cenat's version of a marathon live stream or "subathon" where Kai will broadcast on Twitch 24/7. The marathon lasts for 30 days.

As Fearbuck took to its X account to share the news, fans and netizens took to the comment section to express their opinions. One user, @StillDefi99, questioned if Cenat's Mafiathon will hit 1 million subscribers since Mafiathon 2 reportedly ended with 723k subscribers.

Another user (@Agtesnx) expressed that Cenat getting his head shaved isn't relevant or productive,

"I’m sorry but if I’m donating money to this man and get nothing but seeing another man shave his head I should’ve rather threw my life savings in the ocean"

Another user (@Kinguchee_e) alleged that Cenat is trying to use LeBron to gain fame,

One netizen (@RifdahSR_11) questioned if LeBron James would consider Twitch and Cenat the right audience for himself,

While a user (@aybee_0) claimed that Kai Cenat has made the same claim before, recalling the time the streamer featured a video call with LeBron during Mafiathon 2,
