“That's a lie”: Internet reacts as Candace Owens says Erika Kirk never asked her to stop because she was “learning” from her investigation

On December 16, Candace Owens shared the points of her recent meeting with Erika Kirk. Candace and Erika held a private meeting of around 4.5 hours in Nashville. In this meeting, they addressed all the allegations and doubts raised by Candace Owens on TPUSA in relation to Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

Among other things, Candace Owens also revealed the reason why Erika didn't tell her to stop her investigation. Candace said that Erika was ‘learning’ things from Owens' investigation. Owens seemingly defended Erika for her recent CBS interview and explained why the latter never asked her to stop.

“And it's interesting to hear Erica say that the reason she didn't ask me to stop in the beginning because she was she was actually learning things from the show. She was actually learning things and that I think she similarly felt that Barry Weiss was trying to create a moment.”

The Internet seemed disappointed with Owens' latest revelation. While some felt something was off with Candace Owens, others said she lied.

Internet reacts as Candace Owens reveals why Erika Kirk didn't ask her to stop

One internet user commented:

Another netizen felt something about Owens was off after her latest meeting with Erika Kirk.

“Something is off with her. This entire episode has been a nonsensical ramble and she continues glancing to her right”

An online user refused to accept that Erika Kirk was learning things from Candace’s show.

“But green lit her employees to bash Candace starting early on? No way Erika didn’t know that because Candace was literally clapping back in episodes. Also Erika said her phone died and she never plugged it in for weeks. And if she was “learning” why act so angry about it

Another internet user claimed that something about Owens had changed.

Candace Owens also revealed that she wasn’t wrong about Charlie’s text before his murder

Elsewhere in her latest podcast, Candace Owens revealed that Erika confirmed that Charlie Kirk texted Andrew Kolvet about threats before his murder. Owens made these claims in her previous episodes, which Erika had earlier denied.

“But there was a portion that was going around that was viral and it was Erica saying that she had Charlie's phone and that Charlie never texted anybody the night before saying that he thought that they were going to kill him. And that obviously reflected poorly on me because I was the one who said that he did in fact uh text multiple people the night before.”

Candace elaborated on what Erika told her about Charlie Kirk’s texts:

“And then I went on Jimmy Door on Friday, Jimmy Door show, and I clarified. I said, "Andrew Kovette told me specifically that he was one of the people that received this text message." So, I got that first person. I didn't get that from a source. I got that directly from Andrew Kovette.”

The political commentator said that TPUSA spokesman, Andrew Kolvet, confirmed text messages from Charlie the night before his murder.
