“Third time’s a charm!”: Luke Combs announces he and wife Nicole are expecting baby No. 3

Nicole and Luke Combs are expanding their family by one more!

The country singer's wife took to Instagram to share the happy news with a video, set to Luke Combs' song "Days Like These," where the beaming mother pulls a sonogram from behind her back to surprise her boys, who throw their hands up in celebration.

"Third time’s a charm! ✨Baby #3 coming this winter 🤍", the couple captioned their post.

The Fathers & Sons artist, 35, shares two sons with Nicole: Beau Lee, 2, and Tex Lawrence, 3.

As reported by People Magazine, shortly after she shared the happy news, Nicole shared a screenshot of a text exchange between her and their manager Sophia Sanson. In it, she had just learned that Luke Combs was performing a live rendition of "Days Like These" just as she shared her pregnancy announcement video.

"When @lukecombs is in London playing Days Like These at the exact time I posted the announcement 🥹🤍 " she wrote in text under the screenshot on her Instagram Stories.

Taste of Country has reported that Luke Combs tied the knot with Nicole in August 2020. Country Now has reported that they met in 2016, at the Key West Songwriters Festival in Florida. Nicole was hosting the event while Luke was performing.

They welcomed their firstborn on Father’s Day, June 19, 2022. They announced the happy news on Instagram with a string of family photos. They welcomed their second son the following year, on August 15, 2023. At the time, the singer was reportedly unable to make it for his birth as he was performing for the Australian and New Zealand leg of his World Tour.

As reported by People Magazine, Luke Combs previously admitted he was "nervous" about welcoming a child for the first time. Shortly after the debut of his concept album, Fathers & Sons, in 2024, he told the outlet that his sons were his inspiration:

“I wanted them to be able to reference later on in their life that even at the height of my success they were still my number one priority," he said. "If anyone’s dad had the opportunity to do something like that, I think that they would take it. At least I would hope so. I did it for them.”

In his “The Man He Sees In Me” song, which debuted as part of Fathers & Sons in June 2024, he penned an ode to his two boys:

“First and foremost, I will always love you, no matter what. With this song, I want you to know that even though I’m not perfect, I try my hardest every day to be the best version of myself for you both. I’ll make mistakes along the way and some days you’ll be sick of your old man I’m sure, but dang we’ll have some fun, too. I can’t wait to see what you both turn out to be like and I hope someday down the road I get to watch you and your kids do the same. Love, Dad.”

Luke Combs is expected to take to the stage on September 26 in London’s Royal Albert Hall for his next performance.
