Jamie Foxx defends GloRilla and stops the show
Jamie Foxx comes to the defense of GloRilla and halts the performance. In the performance by GloRilla, one of the crowd members tossed a glass bottle at the stage. The object is said to have hit or even gotten very close to hitting the rapper, resulting in her halting the song.
Jamie Foxx then came up and took the microphone. He insisted on who did it and threatened the audience that the event would terminate in case actions of this nature were continued.
Eyewitnesses said Jamie Foxx appeared calm but firm as he scolded the crowd.
He said, “Why would you throw something at the stage, man? This is for free. Y’all don’t deserve this, bro.”
His message was very clear that he could not tolerate the disrespect shown to performers. The listeners remained quiet, and some of them apologized to GloRilla due to the interruption. This was followed by a short break, and order was regained, and GloRilla chose to resume her set.
The remaining part of the incident was said to have proceeded smoothly. No one was injured, and the mood was restored later to normal levels. None of the official public statements have been issued by Foxx or GloRilla since the incident.
