Selena Gomez recently shared a heartfelt quote on her Instagram stories, and suffice it to say, she's won fans over with it:

"you matter, your voice matters, your heart matters, you are worth so much more than you know"

The quote reads, while her caption states:

"you know who you are and I’m cheering you on."

Fans have since been gushing over the actress cum veteran songstress, with many flocking to X to express their love. While a handful of them have been speculating that this may be about Hailey Bieber, who is Selena Gomez's ex-boyfriend's wife, many think she's just being nice. Here's what one fan penned online, for instance:

"Selena always finds the perfect words when people need them most. This isn’t just a quote—it’s a lifeline. Whoever it’s for, they’re lucky to have her in their corner."

The comments didn't end there:

"She’s so kind for this but it might also stir up unwanted drama ig," one user pointed out.
"This is why I love her. Always spreading positivity," someone else gushed.
"keep it real sel keep it coming," another cheered on.
"Selena’s words hit different this time it feels personal and real. Whoever she’s talking to they needed to hear that and she knew it," yet another claimed.

Here's how the rest of X is reacting:

"i love how she is so supportive of the people who hate her, she is such an angel," one user opined.
"Wonder who she's sending that support to? Such a thoughtful message," someone else chimed in.
"What a beautiful and powerful message from Selena Gomez! So uplifting and kind," yet another noted.
"i mean. why does she matter? she barely do anything lol," one naysayer penned.

Notably, however, a large number of users felt like Selena Gomez's comments may have been directed at Hailey Bieber, since just days ago, Justin Bieber took to Instagram to allude to some sort of "mistake" he made that he now regrets.

Earlier this week, Justin Bieber took to Instagram to apologise to his wife and the mother of his son, Hailey, for second-guessing her. In a post on Instagram, which has since been deleted, the former child star expressed remorse for once telling her she'd never make it to the cover of Vogue. The business mogul's Vogue cover issue dropped this Tuesday, May 20. Bieber wrote:

"Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight"

He continued:

"I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue. Yikes I know, so mean."

He recalled insulting her because he "felt so disrespected" and "thought I gotta get even." He continued:

"I think as we mature we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even"

Bieber wrote further:

"we’re honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection."

He concluded the post by saying:

"So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a vogue cover cuz clearly i was sadly mistaken."

The Baby singer has since re-uploaded the cover, this time with a series of emojis instead.

At the time of writing, it remains unclear just who Selena Gomez penned her IG story for, though it seems unlikely she will be elucidating the same anytime soon.
